FACING FORWARD WITH COURAGE AND RESILIENCE

The month of March will mark the ingresses of two very powerful planets into new signs.  On March 7th, Saturn will move into Pisces for a 2 1/2 year period, while Pluto will barrel into Aquarius on the 23rd for a 20 yea stay. This marks an entry into a new stage of human evolution and societal upheaval.

Saturn in Pisces is a smaller more regular transit, having occurred in recent times in 1993 - 1995 and 1964 - 1967.  If you are older than age 30, you would have experienced this transit before albeit possibly from the vantage point of observer (as a child).  Saturn will reveal the limits of a sign and in Pisces, it will be the lack inherent in current spiritual and religious philosophies as well as disillusionment with celebrities and medical professionals.  All of these groups have certainly earned our disdain or disappointment (Saturn words) in the past few years and it will become evident that they do not have the knowledge or information to assist us in very novel and turbulent times. The focus of New Age entities on "positive thinking" at the expense of integrating the shadow is one such reality that will hit us all in the face.  More traditional religious organizations have already lost integrity and respect, more due to Pluto in Capricorn, deconstruction of the patriarchy.  This era will force us to either seek other healers and gurus or more importantly, seek the wisdom/guru within.

Pluto into Aquarius is a longwave transit that will delve into the dark side of technology, the so-called Black Mirror episodes becoming everyday reality. The egregious overreach of technology and technological authority into our lives -censorship, containment, restrictions, de-platforming, already happening under Saturn in Aquarius 2020 - 2023, will become even more rampant in the years ahead.

The promise of the internet has now turned into the perils of online life. Additionally, biotech, body sensors, MRNA technology will become ubiquitous to our detriment and that of the natural world.  The notion of installing sensors in everything - appliances,  communication devices  and FOOD point to a more circumscribed and poisoned world.    AI is positioned to eliminate many professions.  Geoengineering, weather warfare, DEW and the like may become the poisoned norm.

Another manifestation of Pluto in Aquarius will be the tyranny of group think, already evident since Trump entered office and more strongly imposed during the era of covid.  And if you think only the right wing are fascists, think again.  We see attempts to make climate change the latest boogey man to strip people of rights and livelihood while not addressing the environmental destruction posed by chemical, fossil fuel, big ag, military installations and the aforementioned denied climate engineering.  Where were all the star environmentalists when it came to East Palestine's corporate imposed disaster?

Usually when larger planets like Saturn and especially Pluto enter a sign, there is a small event that will give us a sense of what the transit will embody over the ensuing years.  So pay attention to what shows up mid to end of March as indicators of what we may personally and societally be dealing with over the next 2 years through the next 20 years.

We will clearly be on new terrain in evolving or devolving consciousness and additional impetus will be provided by personal planets moving into Aries and the resolution of interpersonal conflicts that arose end of 2022 due to Mars retro in Gemini.

The future that unelected leaders - bankers, corporate executives, think tanks, the military , the biomedical security state - want to impose on us is a cybernetic one - the integration of biology with technology.  Unfortunately, this will likely entail the destruction of biology, humans and the environment. If you believe you are a creation of god/universal forces rather than a scientific experiment, it's time to wake up and join forces with other human-minded souls.  We do have the natural technology to heal and grow and our courage and heart intelligence will be required to fend off the dystopian world that ungodly forces would like to install.

The transitting north node at any time is pointing us in the direction of growth, even at the expense of letting go of South Node attachments.  Since January 2022, the nodes have been in Taurus/Scorpio, the axis that deals with values and self-worth.  Of course, money and sex come into play as well as how complicated or clean our financial arrangements are.

And, as certain degrees are more highlighted than others, they can be used as predictive tools for future happenings.

The north node will be travelling at 5 degrees Taurus the early part of the month and this degree will be active again in a solar eclipse in Oct.  What does this mean? That potentially decisions you are making now will lead ot new beginnings or changes in the fall in the specific area below:

While the heaviness of the Saturn and Pluto ingresses will overshadow lesser transits, we still do engage with more ephemeral or mystical essences as we are multidimensional beings.

Any Neptune aspect can inspire or confuse but it is a balm against hard "reality".  

Mid-month, the Sun in Pisces connects with Neptune in Pisces (dreamscape) while squaring Mars in Gemini (double-talk or potential superficiality).  The Sun/Neptune conjunction actually highlights last year's magical Jupiter/Neptune conjunction of channeling new creations, only to be second-guessed at by Mars in Gemini.  If you can quiet the chatter (similar to what you were dealing with during the late fall into January) the larger vision can start to form.  Don't let worry get in the way, this is a long term evolution of consciousness.

The spring equinox is the actual energetic start of the new year and this year it is accompanied by a New Moon as well.  (I normally do not comment much on monthly new and full moons because generally they do not has as much impact on our lives as the overabundance of writings suggest).  Yes, supercharged New and Full Moons, i.e. eclipses will have radical impacts but it is likely you would not remember what you did or what happened on the new moon, full moon of almost any month outside of that.

That being said, when aspects overlap, in this instance the equinox world axis degree along with a veritable new moon, the energy is amplified and in this instance, it's all systems go in whatever area of life is most greatly impacted.

While this transit will be evolving - and our understanding of it - over the next 20 years, we will most likely get a taste of its impact once it enters the sign on March 24th.  What could this be?  A cyber attack, an EMP, nuclear war, medical malfeasance?  In all cases, these could be set ups for more technocratic control via surveillance, censorship, travel restrictions, CBDC's etc.

And because this is a transpersonal transit, unless it is touching your chart directly at this time, it will be experienced as a general witness, rather than a direct personal event. (Those will planets or points at 0 degrees Taurus, Leo, Scorpio OR Aquarius, however - could see massive shifts in their lives).

While again less powerful than Saturn or Pluto, Mars' ingress into Cancer is a welcome relief after 6 months in confusion-riddled Gemini.  The Mars retrograde in Gemini did have us unwittingly looking back to childhood and our perceptions of relationships, family history, reality.  But it could have been annoying as old stories, resentments, feuds were resurrected.

Mars had turned direct in January and will now finally exit Gemini and enter Cancer where the focus will be on giving and receiving nurturance. Any of the "human" signs will be necessary allies against the technocratic "army" and those who are motivated to be caretakers will be necessary in terms of healing and emotional sustenance.

Over the next few months, there will be a strong impetus to take care of others here:

February 2023 horoscopes

BALANCING THE RATIONAL AND INTUITIVE REALMS

So after the drama of the last few months of 2022 and this past retrograde-filled January, February is a bit more passive and less outwardly chaotic.  From now until end of April, all of the planets will be in forward motion.

Hence, it is a good time to experiment with or launch new projects without yet worrying about their long-term efficacy.

And February provides a tiny break before Saturn and Pluto move into new signs in March, heralding a new era for mankind.  March may prove very eventful on the world stage and we will be made aware of even greater challenges to humanity's survival.

So relish the "ordinariness" of February which is also infused with some romance and dreaminess due to Venus and Neptune in Pisces.  This kind of romance is highly idealized or potentially sacrificial.  There is an element of surrendering to the sublime.  

The basic feeling energy of February is the mix of Aquarius themes with Pisces ones, all happening in the area of future goals - merging far past remembrances with future visions.

The sense of the tides turning is also evident with Saturn and Pluto being at their last degrees before changing signs next month.  29 degrees is called an anoretic degree and it is challenging because it straddles the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.  

There are two cycles ending next month, one being Saturn in Aquarius (2020 - 2023) and the other being Pluto in Capricorn (2008 - 2023) and the themes are discussed further below.

February is a month where a lot of the energy and focus will be on the emotional and feeling level.   So whatever is or isn't happening on the material plane is not as important as how you are interpreting or integrating these emotions.

The Mars in Gemini retrograde period (Oct 30th, 2022 - Jan 12th, 2023) was rather chaotic and ignited a questionable walk down memory lane.  We may have argued with friends, lovers, family members and it is likely that many of the conversations were focused on unimportant topics seemingly writ large. Yet, underneath the squabbling would have been hurt feelings, unresolved issues and immature interpretations.

We probably grew back up when Mars went direct on Jan 12th and our minds became sharper.  What also became clear is that certain people no longer fit into our lives in the same way.  

Mars in Gemini also may have made clear that a lot of people like to be lied to as the truth is too painful to contemplate.  This is true in family situations but also in the world at large, particularly in relation to media and current events.  We can "make up" with our "enemies" but we now know that our perspectives are too divergent to find common ground.

With our newfound command of our personal truths, we may be on the search for new partners, friends, collaborators.  It's certainly the month of love, but we know that love takes many forms and while astrology does not have as many words for this emotion as Eskimos have for snow, the cosmic science does provide several different iterations.  In addition to Venus and the Moon, they include Agape (goodwill), Amor (friendship) , Sappho (creative female-oriented), Eros (erotic passion) amongst others.

In our desire to be more assertive with our words, we may run into an amorphous cloud of dreaminess and impracticality, courtesy of Venus in Pisces.  We don't have to agree now, in fact we won't (but may eventually succumb to the dream in a few weeks courtesy of Venus/Neptune conjunction of Feb 16th).

In the meantime, we may veer between the poles of taking action or declaring ourselves and sinking into reverie or creative imagination:

ARIES  - you may veer between being a social butterfly and needing to isolate

TAURUS  - there is a part of you that wants to do it alone but may dream of having friends assist you

GEMINI - should you push to have your way or allow universal forces to take over?

CANCER - should you worry about the past or dream about the future?

VIRGO  - you may feel conflicted between going all out at work or spending time with a loved one

While this square is very minor in comparison to major transits like Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, it reveals different approaches to problems or situations. One person may want to talk it out ad nauseum while the other may want to let things be. Perhaps a bit of compromise - some discussion, some space - will alleviate the impasse.


AQUARIUS/PISCES ARCHETYPES

Adding to the conundrum of acting vs dreaming is the rational view versus the intuitive one.  This is courtesy of the Sun in Aquarius (science mind) versus the eventual Sun into Pisces (creative mind).  If you wonder why Aquarius and Pisces individuals can be so complicated, understand that this may be a lifetime challenge of trying to balance the two extremes

Hence our focus for the month may shift when the Sun moves from Aquarius to Pisces.  How can we be free to pursue the dream?

ARIES  - you can discuss your project with others but then ultimately decide it on your own in private or through mediation

TAURUS - you can analyze where your business is at and then spend time creating new opportunities

GEMINI - your beliefs will end up affecting how you do your job

CANCER  - partner's objectivity may still need to be vetted through a spiritual lens

LEO - your spouse may have worked things out but they need time to percolate and flourish

VIRGO - you may have sorted out a work scenario but now allow others the time to adopt it or not

LIBRA - perhaps your idea is a good one but the process will need some space for unexpected developments

SCORPIO - you think you know how to raise your child but they have their own personality and template

SAGITTARIUS  - it's okay to psychoanalyze your family but you must allow everyone their chance to absorb or reject the information

CAPRICORN - sure you've got a great idea to make money but communicating it needs some work

AQUARIUS - you've entered a new chapter and it will take a bit of time for the money to materialize

PISCES - you think you've licked your demons - and you have - but still be compassionate with self as the new persona forms

In closing, we all have Aquarius and Pisces houses in our charts and must deal with the differences in our own way.  If we can accept both archetypes and find ways to include them in our self-definition or approach to life, we may feel more complete.

This once yearly conjunction can be one of the  most romantic days of the year where we start a new cycle around dreams.  In Pisces, this could be one of universal happiness and acceptance, world peace, unconditional love.  Of course, in this dimension, actual unconditional love and tolerance IS a dream, especially as hate and division are exploited to maintain power.    

Yet, humanity has always sought to "return back home".  The wistfulness that comes with seeking for the ineffable, the divine, is inherent in most people (unless they've given way to the cold rationalism of the science/technocratic mindset). But centuries of music, poetry, art and prayer point to this desire for beauty and transcendence.

While this year's conjunction is relatively modest, it does light up the degree of last year's Jupiter/Neptune alignment in April 2022 which began a new cycle around visioning.  So perhaps, if you recall any inspiration that touched you last year, you may find that it is rekindled in this moment for further nurturance.

Pisces is also connected to the idea of sacrifice.   This may beg the question, who is sacrificing and to whom and what?  Perhaps the healthiest version is to "let go and let god" in this area of life:

You can formulate a dream now in this particular area, but then allow the universe to respond or rectify in time.  In the end, it is the feeling of true connection that you are seeking and this does not have to include other people or proceedings if you truly feel at home in yourself.

What have we learned with Saturn in Aquarius (April 2020 - March 2023)? On the one hand, the difficulty of individuating and secondly, the rejection one receives when one stands out from the group.  Think the cv narrative over the last three years, i.e. who was allowed to speak and who wasn't. This is the tyranny of the group which unfortunately will become even more clear with Pluto moving into Aquarius - the abuse by the collective.

Pluto in Capricorn (2008 - 2023) has shown us that those in power may have been corrupted or failed upward toward the top.  Why is there such a dearth of decent political candidates? The goods ones are kicked to the sidelines for not adhering to the right script or failing to appease the donors.  We should by now know that power corrupts and how much a threat that real freedom and equality pose to the elite class.  Not the woke version of ESG, which has been coopted by the powerful, but rather old school liberalism/leftism that demands better wages, worker relationships, decent housing and health care.

We are halfway through the eight year Uranus in Taurus cycle (revolution in values).  Out in the world, this is appearing as new forms of money and investments (cryptocurrency, CBDC's, NFT's etc) as well as dramatic environmental changes.  

Taurus is about security  - particularly financial or material - and while we in the US have abundant resources, many groups here and abroad are struggling to put food on the table and afford oil to heat their homes.

As Uranus is hovering on the world axis this entire month, it is likely there will be a worldly event - climate, financial, security - that will exemplify the energy of dramatic change.  

We can look at the war in Ukraine, stock market prices fluctuating and the housing market, another traditional form of security, declining or becoming inaccessible to the average person.  And while the most major events may not happen until Pluto moves into Aquarius in March, we can feel that the world is teetering on the edge of collapse.

Uranus is meant to separate us from what or whom no longer works for us. If it is a nation or organization, perhaps the old political or economic system is no longer functional.  If a long-term personal relationship, the dynamics must be altered for it to remain viable.

And while it may feel disruptive, Uranian transits are ultimately meant to liberate us so that we can evolve to a more conscious way of living and being.

We are no stranger to Uranus per se, as it stations twice a year, generally around end of August and end of January.  So last month, we were released from an oppressive or dying situation and/or catapulted into a new direction.

Uranus demands we change or else deal with sudden breaks/accidents/shocks that will force us to look at the world in a new way. It is likely that for good or ill, more people are aware of climate change (however it is being perpetrated), advances in technology, AI and the monetary system.  If anything, it is a time to update your views on all of these topics and decide where to focus one's attention and energy. What do you value?  That is made evident by what you spend your time and money on.

The house where Uranus is travelling is the one where we might be experiencing the most upheaval (which will ultimately lead to liberation in the end).

RELEASING OURSELVES FROM PAST STORIES

AND PERCEPTIONS

When the month and year begins, we will still be experiencing three disconcerting retrogrades - Mars retro in Gemini, Mercury retro in Capricorn and Uranus retro in Taurus.  We are in something of a holding pattern until mid month when these bodies successively turn direct.

Hence, we will be engaged in a short final review of our past before we launch into new territory.  When the two titans of business and politics, Saturn and Pluto move into new signs in March, a new historical period will be initiated.   Pluto will begin its 20 year journey into Aquarius on March 24th while Saturn will traverse Pisces for 2 1/2 years starting on March 8th. Prepare for some global shockwaves to further upend the fragile status quo.

Meanwhile, Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus have been disintegrating our old ideas of what the world was supposed to be.  Uranus in Taurus (2018 - 2026) is forcing us to look at money, the environment, nature, consumerism through new eyes.  Saturn in Aquarius has given us a preview of what Pluto in Aquarius will bring - the negative affects of technological overreach.  The past two years were a test run and humanity as a whole failed terribly - asking for more safety and restrictions in the face of terror propaganda.

Do we want to exist in a perennial technological police state or do we want to thrive and express our full humanity and individuality with courage and grace?

The Nodes will move from Taurus/Scorpio into Aries/Libra in July and focus will turn away from financial and security matters to relationship and conflict, including war.  Jupiter will continue to travel through Aries until May, providing us with a bit of spunk and chutzpah and allowing us to create more material plane security the second half of the year when it enters the sign of Taurus.

Among the regular Mercury retrogrades, we will also have a Venus retrograde July 28 - September 3 in the sign of Leo, potentially resurrecting stories from 2017 - 2018 and/or also revealing a changing of the guard when it comes to power and celebrities.

Time and history move on, as exemplified by astrology, and we cannot stand still lest we atrophy.  So face forward with courage as we gird ourselves for the battle of our lifetimes - the overthrow of transhumanist fantasies and the securing of our natural humanity and independence.

While appearing in different planetary combinations later in the year, the Aquarius/Pisces archetype will be in full flower because of Pluto's and Saturn's ingress into these signs.

Jan 6th provides a brief example of what will be a general inconjunct sign aspect by sign between the two business and worldly planets (Saturn and Pluto) for the next two years.

How will the thrust for more mechanization affect our spiritual or creative bodies?  What dreams will be enhanced or desecrated with the introduction of technology?  

Virtual reality is one such arena and while we can say the designer will determine the beauty or ugliness of the product, how free are we within the confines of technology and social media?  Do we not already self correct, self-censor?

Or can we provide a container for our visions once we've understood the protocols and can that liberate us?

It depends on our consciousness as to whether the results will be inspired or conscripted to a larger agenda.

Much of the confusion and misunderstandings that we experienced since last Oct can be due to Mars retrograde in the sign of communication.  This was an opportunity for someone to tell their side of the story, albeit one that seemed at odds with our interpretation.  Exes, competitors, gossip mongers could have also shown up at this time.

How do we handle opposition to our ideas or perceptions?  Do we listen, rage or talk it out?  These "coping" mechanisms would have been learned in childhood.  If we recognize the patterns, we can now change them.

It is likely that you heard the worst of the story and now that Mars turns direct, you may be able to sort the situation out with more maturity and clarity.  Can we accept that others see things differently?  It doesn't mean we have to accept their version, just acknowledge it.

Should we need to stand up for ourselves, now with Mars direct, we will have more ballast and perspective.

Whose authority am I listening to?  Those in positions of power or our inner voice? Capricorn represents the status quo and societal obligations and when we find ourselves controlled by these ideas, we are giving our power away to outside forces.  Yet, we do have an inner figure of structure and responsibility and he/she/they are whom we might begin to pay attention to.

We are in a short Mercury retrograde period of Dec 29th - Jan 18th where we get to revisit the "shoulds' once more.  But hopefully, because we experienced a similar retrograde (with Venus) last December 2021 - Jan 2022, perhaps the same questions have arisen again, but with a hopefully more masterful or adult perspective.

And even if you questioned the situation, we would hope that you follow your own guidance and not that of some expert or parental figure.

Uranus direct in Taurus 14 degrees Jan 23rd
time to break free

The last big blast off to the New Year happens when Uranus turns direct on Jan 23rd.  There is likely a bookend story that occurred in late August 2022 whereby you felt you needed to be free.  You may have wavered in that decision, particularly because of Mars retrograde in Gemini, which may have had you question your views.

But, if the decision to part involved a long-standing relationship, when Uranus turns direct, it is likely that you will want to pursue the "divorce" and move on.  If you are dealing with a more recent association and ran into some shoals, it might not be time to quit but rather to regroup again and move forward with a fresh start.

If we don't let go willingly to situations that have outlived their value or time, it is possible that these things/people/places will be taken from you.

Uranus is the planet connected to freedom and liberation and in the sign of Taurus, we may find that we no longer value or appreciate the same things. Hence, when values change, it is likely that relationships become mismatched as two or more people no longer share the same goals.

Uranus can also appear as someone else making these changes - such as a partner leaving or a new love interest arriving - but they are simply reflections of what your chart is craving.  So, as with all of the astrology we are living through, it is best to let go rather than cling desperately to something that has already died or run its course.

The New Year really energetically starts in February after these retrogrades and you will have the next three months to try many new things.  The events in March will also signal a larger paradigm shift in society and how this will impact us over the coming decades.

Basically, Saturn will ask us to walk away from disillusioning situations while Pluto will thrust us into a pivotal moment of life reevaluation.

The main lesson of the last 16 years of Pluto in Capricorn was to withdraw our attachment or fascination to power and experts and to bring that focus back home to ourselves.  

Events of 2023 will reveal that those in power do not know what they do or are not capable of honest leadership. The current system is not commensurate with supporting human potential and development and it must fall in order for a new more multipolar world governance - i.e. more local governance truly by the people, not the technocrats.

All hands will be needed on deck to steer the ship to peaceful waters. Use this month to clear up the detritus from the past as you ready yourself for one of the most dramatic and transformative periods in human history.

DECEMBER 2022 HOROSCOPES

FINDING THE COURAGE TO FACE OUR PERSONAL AND COLLECTIVE DESTINIES

As this dramatic year comes to an end, Americans are faced with the prospects of a permanently fractured nation. Both political parties could point to the other as the source of this problem.

Much of the upheaval is due to the fact that the United states is experiencing its first Pluto return (last exact hit on Dec 28th). Most empires last two Pluto cycles or 500 years. That is not likely to be the case for our country (and probably most western nations). We are in a period of change or die.

Our empire of "democracy building" or capitalist hegemony has lost its way and we have become the tyrants on the world stage. Forget propaganda that insists we are the good guys as we have invaded innumerable nations in the last 50 years. And Americans, instead of fighting against governmental overreach, are falling into compliance and even support of totalitarian measures here and abroad.

Part of the problem is that we are no longer a functioning democracy but rather an oligarchy - strong terms but Mussolini's definition of fascism is the collusion of corporations and government. And these are the Plutonian abusers behind the scenes, poisoning the well of enlightenment thinking.

Politics serves to keep us divided and focused on our neighbor rather than those pulling the strings.

Who does it benefit to have a country at war with itself? Some easy answers come to mind - globalists, multinationals and transnationals who already operate outside of sovereign borders. The military-medical-agri-business-industrial-media-political-academic complex is steering this ship off a cliff.

And getting back to the narrative, for sure, Trump so disemboweled the Republican party that it is a rancid shell of its former self. This has pushed people into the party of functional fascism, the Democrats. (Perhaps Trump is a Russian/Chinese/globalist asset after all?)

I am being facetious, but why do I say this? As a life-long liberal, I am horrified by the depths to which the Democratic party has sunk in terms of defying their own traditional ideals. Once the party of the working man, it is now the party of the corporate elites. While lip service is given to equal rights and economic issues, the actions are similar to the old school Republican party - pro-war, pro-development, pro-big industry, pro government censorship, anti-labor (the current railroad strike is a case in point).

And, sure, when red bait issues of abortion and gun rights are on the ballot as opposed to accountability for mandates and lockdowns, the "my body my choice" crowd comes out, not realizing they are supporting the party that took away their medical and sometimes financial freedom.

And, of course, if practiced with true intention and purity of heart, the original progressive leftist agenda of equality, sustainability, fairness, and acceptance is a laudable one. Those in power knew the tides were turning toward more socially conscious ethics, so they hijacked the naive aspirations of the younger more impressionable populace.

But the truth is probably far darker than that as the wolf (of fascism, transhumanism, domination, slavery) is dressed in compassionate sheep's clothing.

So, where to go from here? The U.S, Pluto return speaks to a new story of courage and freedom, one that incorporates the need for individualism with rational social responsibilities. We cannot be one man for himself but we also cannot be a faceless dot in the Borg.

The freedoms the GOP are touting - right to own guns, and the freedom the left is spouting - identity politics - are both out of date and out of tune or totally irrelevant to the crises at hand- environmental, medical, technological, spiritual.

We must unite and wake up to the fact that the only battle is that of the corporatists/globalist/transhumanist agenda versus a human one.

We must raise our consciousness and vision to include the paradox of individuality within a shared (and widely and openly discussed) collective identity.

And some of the golden rules - loyalty, personal discipline, love of family, respect for others- that would have been the foundation of healthy conservatism - still apply.

More local governance, more honest accountability (not political scapegoating), less intervention in global affairs. Let's be honest - we're only fighting for the military, surveillance, biotech or fossil fuel contractors), not for anyone's freedom.

One's Pluto transits may decimate any and all structures in one's life that are out of integrity or corrupted. The same should/could hold true for a nation's Pluto return.

What will rise out of the ashes of the current dysfunctional system? Right now, there seems to be only two avenues that are being presented to us, both of them abhorrent. One, the technocratic, "chip in every brain" AI world or the decimated climate catastrophized globe.

For now, the crafting of a potentially new narrative for the U.S. Pluto in Capricorn would incorporate the original intention of individual liberty, responsibility to future generations, tolerance (this applies to both sides who are woefully hypocritical in this regard) and updated to include new challenges (surveillance, biosecurity, bodily integrity, environmental) that our forefathers never even considered.

Capricorn is the wise adult, the wise woman, the medicine woman. Can we turn this nation around to move away from infantile and destructive behaviors/pleasures and toward building a fair and resilient future?

And most of all, Capricorn is grounded, not virtual. If we can find our way back to simple exercises and connection with nature and our bodies, we could feel our way to a better future. The dissociation that happens with technology, entertainment, video games, pharmaceuticals, GMOs takes us away from our true selves as biological and spiritual beings.

Commitment to and appreciation of our existence as divinity cloaked in biology can help us bridge the artificial divides of politics and ideologies and lead to a more unified whole.

At the beginning of the month, Venus is Sag opposes Mars in Gemini leading to some disputes regarding love and desire. It's all in what people say and unfortunately, much of it may not be true.

We already dealt with Mars in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces mid November when confusion, gossip, nefariousness reigned.

It's not because anyone is lying intentionally, but what they want may be out of reach in the current moment. And we may battle with ourselves over movement or stasis.

Neptune direct in Pisces Dec 4th
waking up to reality

Neptune, the planet correlated with dreams and illusions, turns direct on December 4th. While this is a regular annual occurrence, its influence is more pronounced by being in the sign of its rulership, Pisces, for the last 10 years. We have three more years to go in discerning its effects on our consciousness and society at large.

As a mundane and generally lower consciousness representation, planets will more likely represent the negative archetype of the sign and with Pisces - deception, disillusionment, poisoning and enervation are the main expressions.

We are swimming in a sea of lies and propaganda, - and these are primarily propagated through social media and legacy corporate media. False dichotomies are presented to us so that we remain confused as to what is happening in reality.

Even the word "reality" has now been fragmented to include a multitude of personal feelings and truth at the expense of a defining common vision of morality.

When nothing matters, truth is up for grabs and the rampant levels of depression, addiction, despair and retreat into fantasies result from a lack of boundaries and centeredness.

Yet, at the same time, controlled narratives abound that include massive amounts of fear, titillation, catastrophizing or conversely infantile and false utopian ideas.

The last time Neptune was in Pisces was during the Civil War and our country was fractured and required a course correction. Now, along with Pluto in Capricorn, our country must reestablish its center and universal ideals.

And we have moments of clarity in the midst of confusion and Neptune turning direct in Pisces on December 4th, provides some light on the shadows.

In our personal lives, many old concepts have dissolved or been revealed to have been corrupted or simply a distraction.

We can become a bit more centered and re-energize to our true mission in the days ahead. And in ordinary terms, we may wake up from our false perceptions here:

Courage is needed to cut through the fog and faith in the larger destiny of man to bring awareness to all.

renewed and inspired action

Our motivation may have been stymied when Jupiter moved back into Pisces. While a transcendent influence, it is also dematerialized and the benefits are more spiritual in nature. With Jupiter, the planet of growth, back into Aries, our fierceness and courage will return. While we are still working through Mars retro in Gemini, we can begin to recapture our sense of self and possible future which be released and can be acted upon once Mars turns direct Jan 12th.

a matrix redux

Last December 2021 into Jan 2022, we experienced a Venus retrograde in Capricorn which had us question old forms of status, values and tradition. Were we doing things from our authentic inner sense or were we chasing things that the matrix approved of?

More than likely it was a temporary questioning of one's previous choices and if one were honest with oneself, one realized that the consensus perks were not really relevant or desirable to their lives.

At the end of this month, Mercury will retrograde in a similar fashion in Capricorn, giving voice or one last review of whether we should have done what was expected or chosen our own path.

In some practical ways, an issue you were dealing with at this time last year may return for a final reevaluation. But note that most of the important energy will be moving in Aquarius - the future, the innovative, the revolutionary - and this is the direction which would serve us well, provided we include some form fo universal love or acceptance.

NOVEMBER 2022 HOROSCOPES

DEEP DIVING TO UNFREEZE THE PAST

As the month begins, we are overrun with the clamoring brouhaha of election season. Ostensibly once again, it is the THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF OUR TIME. Where have we heard this before - and before that?

Granted, voting in local elections can generate positive results but the belief that big elections matter - or that the candidates are decidedly different -- is naive. Pluto in Capricorn has been waking us up to the dysfunction of the elites and the ruling class and there should be no doubt that candidates are selected by the powers that be, not by the people.

As we are in the throes of the U. S. Pluto return, exact next month, we are indeed in a transition point regarding the future of our nation. But it is not simply the result of the last four or six years, but decades in the making. And in more recent times, Citizen's United (2010) and earlier pharmaceutical immunity, (1986) signed into law by entrenched Republicans and Democrats alike (think about all the 30 year plus veterans of congress) allowing corporations to have a voice, rang the death knell of a democratically elected congress.

Fascism exists on both sides, one more of a dangerous caricature, the other the smooth talking salesman. Do you prefer to get stabbed in the face or in the back? Either way is deadly.

What to do now? First off, realize the charade and withdraw one's fascination with the political playoffs and get busy in crafting your own destiny and supporting leaders with courage and integrity. While the specter of a globalist one world government is very near (and began with the League of Nations and amplified during the American decline in the 1970's), it does not have to become a foregone conclusion.

But understand that the possibility of a lost America is there as Pluto will destroy one paradigm to build another - and it doesn't have to be a better one. We can lose the last vestige of what we think is representative democracy and simply become one ailing entity as part of a bureaucratic AI controlled world.

Going back to election day, Venus will be in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus. Scorpio reveals the cost or dependency in any relationship - or the deal that one makes to preserve emotional or financial security. Uranus in Taurus is saying let go of all those old ideas and set out in a new direction. This might include the notion that any one leader or party will save us.

Venus also gets caught in the ongoing square of Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius - change in money and values vs. the egregious nature of a technocracy. Does social media determine our values? You betcha and perhaps a divorce from the constant flow of limited targeted information would do your mental health and soul some good.

Mid-month we experience a Taurus/Scorpio lunar eclipse which shakes out a lot of the misaligned unions/relationships that we have been tolerating. Much of these situations had already been shattered in 2018 and 2019 with a serious of earlier eclipses in Leo/Aquarius (And to those people asking will Trump be thrown in jail, it is possible as these span his rising sign partnership house and his time in the White House).

If we realize that the arrangement no longer works, time to let it go as there will be new opportunities for merging next spring.

What helps us to see the bigger picture in all this emotional tumult? The personal planets moving into Sag help us to gain some perspective and ideally, wisdom from the proceedings. Sagittarius follows Scorpio in the zodiac and one we've gone through the depths of psychological pain and purging, Sag discovers the bigger purpose. Sag is also party time and we can get an early start this season as so many looming global events threaten to break the holiday spirit.

Another part of our healing involves Chiron in a challenging aspect to the North node all month long and into December. There is a need to finally be free to be oneself and use the headaches and the rage to further a new goal and sense of self.

As we venture trepidatiously into Scorpio season, many of the difficult emotions and conflicts we encountered in October are still being processed. Pluto is the natural ruler of Scorpio and when confronting this energy, we are dealing with a form of emotional nuclear power.

Lunar eclipses always reveal what has come to pass based on our previous actions at the solar eclipse cycle. We have been marinating in the Taurus/Scorpio axis of security and desire - with financial and emotional security being of primary concern for the last year 1/2 and even farther back to 2017/2018 when the Leo/Aquarius eclipses squared these degrees. (To simplify, right now you may be dealing with the fallout/consequences/opportunities that arose from decisions and situations percolating four or five years ago).

Chiron is about halfway through its 4 year transit through Aries so we should be becoming familiar with its purpose and expression. In mid April 2022, we were blessed with a Jupiter Neptune conjunction in Pisces, a new cycle around dream building. And once Jupiter moved into Aries in May, we may have felt more energy and desire to set this vision into motion, only possibly to have lost steam once Jupiter retrograded in July. We had to tread through Pisces a few more months to capture and/or release unrealistic fantasies. The ideas may have undergone a cleansing and reconsideration and now we can move forward again with renewed hope on Nov 23rd. At end of year, Jupiter will step back into Aries and its all cylinders go in the new year.

What recalibration of your beliefs or vision occurred in the past few months?

While forward thinking and a decided letting go of the past are encouraged, these last months of 2022 will force us to look back and review the earliest imprints. Unfortunately, when not addressed, the past bleeds into the present and creates a future that we potentially don't want. So during this Scorpionic month, we are urged to do emotional deep dives. It is not for punishment, but rather for reappraisal and the ability to write and lean into a new story.

And we may even discover how our beliefs about the future were naive or ill-informed (as to our ability to craft the future or our abdication of responsibility which allows the vacuum to be filled by others, often nefarious in intent).

This dark future potential will be staring us in the face come next spring and we will have to decide if we are willing to get on board with an agenda that is not ours. Clearing out old patterns of obedience and deference to authority are a place to start and this winter, going back to the source of our disempowerment via parents, teachers, peers, authority figures, religious leaders, will perhaps leave us gagging at our lack of self-respect. (But we must have compassion because for millennia we have been conditioned to defer to so-called experts and the powerful and sacrifice ourselves and our needs in the process). But we can say "NO MORE"!

Part of the journey of awakening is realizing our intrinsic power and divinity so clearing the lens of false illusions will bring greater light to ourselves and future generations. Democracy dies in darkness, but it also dies in lack of courage and ability to face the truth.

OCTOBER 2022 HOROSCOPES

TRANSMUTING EMOTIONAL OR FINANCIAL OBSTACLES INTO NEW CREATIVE POSSIBILITIES

October will be a dynamic and fated month with several planetary stations, including the yearly stations direct of Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Aquarius. As Pluto and Saturn relate to events that are happening on a global level, they impact business and the economy on a grand scale.

For those who have followed this column for the past decade, I have railed about Pluto in Capricorn representing the deconstruction of the patriarchy and the current reality paradigm. We are in the last leg of this journey (Pluto will dip into Aquarius for a short while in 2023 and retro back to the last degree of Capricorn in a final flourish). What have we learned as individuals and societies about the nature of power and its use and abuse?

Capricorn is the sign of tradition, small c conservatism, structure and hierarchy. The death of Queen Elizabeth, the world's longest ruling monarch sent a signal that a certain era of history is over. We can revere her sense of duty, obligation and responsibility while not necessarily concurring with what empire represented to many populations outside of the main royal circle. She was born into the role and followed the manmade rules perfectly.

Yet, these are not universal laws, no matter the pomp and circumstance surrounding a mere mortal presented as a divine ruler. Since the inception and adoption of enlightenment ideals (whether expressed properly or not), the dismantling of the divine right of kings has progressively ensued.

Here in the modern western world, in the absence of satisfying cultural archetypes, we must project our concept of the mother onto the queen. For many, she was a cipher for the divine feminine. Perhaps going forward, we can instead look to those (as in more ancient times) who were truly the wise women - the medicine women of every community. (A dark side note is that in order for the masculine enlightenment ideas to take hold, they had to suppress the feminine, mystical, spiritual energies by declaring women to be witches, killing off centuries of earth-based knowledge).

As we reflect on the last 15 years, consider where you have confronted the inner and outer abuser and where hopefully you have accessed your own power once again.

As we dance with a transhumanist future that perhaps only a few sociopaths actually want, we are faced with a different battle and that is one of human vs. cyborg. This will be the terrain under which we exercise our free will in the coming two decades. Saturn in Aquarius, while not directly connected to this, has been giving us a preview of the challenges of a technological world view, the belief that science and technology can save us from everything - climate change, pandemics, educating our children - and its attendant shortfall.

Saturn has been in Aquarius since March 2020, the early part of the pandemic and will remain in the sign until March of 2023. Aquarius has a collectivist vibe and here will will also encounter the positives and negatives. Who are your tribe? How has social media affected our lives? Have opportunities opened up or become more limited? What better boundaries can be created (by ourselves, not governmental bodies)?

As Pluto and Saturn are connected to business endeavors, the proverbial stock market crash may be around the corner (altho I think its eventuality will be artificially suppressed until after the mid-terms). For those of us initiating a new business or moving to the next level, the forward motion of both planets is very supportive for structural and financial growth. If we're in the wrong field (in the current economy) or our profession has run its course, Pluto and Saturn will impel us to shut it down. (This will not be an out of the blue surprise as the writing will have been on the wall for some time, probably at least since 2020, when Pluto and Saturn conjoined in a paradigm shifting aspect).

We will also be experiencing other planetary direction changes, these less profound, but noticeable nonetheless. As the month begins, we will witness Mercury turning direct, this time in Virgo, so whatever snafus occurred during the short retrograde period can right themselves, as long as we pay attention to details and functional procedures. Jupiter is still retrograding but will step back into Pisces from Aries for a two month last hurrah. We may simply be dipping back into our creative imagination one more time before declaring our new mission or plan come early 2023.

Lastly, in what I dub the most annoying transit, is Mars turning retrograde in Gemini. This is the classic "men acting crazy" scenario where normally placid individuals become combative whilest the gaslighter/abuser becomes surprisingly decent for once. These personality splits are only temporary so you cannot believe anything you hear as people are working out their shadow sides. Everything turns back to "normal" i.e. the nice guy returns and the asshole also comes back into his body once Mars turns direct on Jan 12, 2023. We are just playing with the idea that the story could have been different so notice the interesting reversals that occur at this time.

We also have a few more eclipses in the axis of Taurus and Scorpio this fall and the first solar beginning one occurs on Oct 25th at 2 degrees Scorpio. This degree was active during 2017 and 2018 and similarly stifled at the beginning of Jan 2021. Scorpio is about emotional and sexual bonding, financial arrangements and deep psychological work. Wherever this eclipse lands in your chart, you can experience a deep renewal and potential return to faith in your intuitive responses.

There's a complexity and depth to this month that can transform us deeply if we are willing to let go and allow the more chthonic changes to take place.

This recent Mercury retrograde was very noticeable regarding the classic mix-ups with communication, contracts, technology. When it started in Libra on Sept 13th, we may have been able to smooth talk our way through things only to find ourselves having to deal with the tiny underlying problems. If we have addressed these, we can move forward with our plans.

It is likely that our relation to authority has changed dramatically over the past 15 years, thanks to the intense manifestations of Pluto in Capricorn. Certainly our societal and organizational structures have changed, including our identities and methods of engagement. Whether the replacement of traditional values is better is yet to be determined, but in the realm of power dynamics, we are hopefully seeing that the emperor has no clothes.

And part of that projection of greatness is only made possible by our false acceptance of our weakness or insignificance. We must seize, as many are, the narrative and speak through our authentic voices rather than those tempered or controlled by "the man".

As the United States chart has Pluto in Capricorn, we are experiencing our nation's first Pluto return (exact in December 2022). Whatever our political persuasion, we all sense that our country is changing irrevocably.

In our personal lives, those whom we might have respected (parents, bosses, presidents, doctors, preachers) have likely fallen from grace. While Jupiter moved into Aries mid May, it retrograded July 28th and is travelling back into Pisces for the remainder of the year. He'll turn direct in November and then arrive back in Aries right before New Year's Day.

Jupiter in Pisces is amplifying the Neptune in Pisces energy which has engulfed us since 2011. Neptune in Pisces is the age of visualization, illusion, spiritualization as well as gaslighting, deception and poisoning. Many are becoming keenly aware of the negative affect of pharmaceuticals which take the place of natural healing, giving the illusion of help while creating more problems.

We're sinking back into Pisces to try to capture the positives of this energy however, which include compassion, universal understanding, sacrifice and willingness to serve others.

The aspect that gets the award for being most annoying - Mars retrograde in Gemini - begins on Oct 30th and last through January 12th. Expect many conflicts, aggressive posting, family arguments, competition w peers and all around gossip mongering at this time.

The main theme will be trying to determine who is telling the truth and who is fabulizing.

Mars retrograde (in any sign) is also notorious for men and/or lovers coming back from the past or, in general, masculine oriented people acting "crazy". Whatever is said at this time is not likely to be the full truth or even a real representation of the what the person is actually thinking.

With Gemini, there can be at least two or three different sides to a story and this will play out in interpersonal relationships, the media and politics. (Perfect for mid-term season, not)!

Just note where words can be twisted - and in this Orwellian time, propaganda is rampant - and try to step back and see the bigger picture. Much will become clear in mid January so try weathering the holidays with as much detachment as possible.

In closing, the fall season is one of harvests and later, of witnessing the fading away of life. We will definitely reap what we sow this season due to the relentless transformative energy of Pluto (which is also connected to dying and rebirth). Additionally, we will be working through some minor inconveniences and miscommunications thanks, in particular, to Mars retrograde in Gemini, in order to clear the decks for 2023.

On a practical note, the Uranian energy of desiring to break free in August is still undergirding everything and while we may in the moment feel definite that something is over, the Mars retrograde will probably bring it back for one last contemplation. We will most likely not cut the cord totally until mid January when Mars and then Uranus turn direct.

Hence, for some situations that are still in their newish phase, try to be as dispassionate an observer as possible. While there is still a doubt or a question or a hope, the story is not yet over. SEPTEMBER 2022 HOROSCOPES

Navigating a Changed Landscape

It is likely that many of us are still dealing with the fallout or acceleration that occurred last month in our Taurus house, courtesy not only of Uranus retro but even more so due to the triple conjunction of Mars/Uranus/North Node in Taurus. Whatever happened, please understand that underneath it all is the need for more freedom and liberation from old patterns, relationships, situations and behaviors. The divorce or, alternatively, the ignition of something profound will lead us to an entirely new chapter in our lives.

We're approaching a blockbuster month in October with multiple back to business stationary directions, most importantly the structural planets of Saturn and Pluto.

This also follows the incendiary month of August which was rife with Uranian destabilization energy. So, if we have a moment to catch our breathe, all the better.

Yet, mother nature has not been able to rest, what with man made climate change and more deadly climate engineering disrupting the earth's natural hydrological cycle. Extreme heatwaves through the Pacific Northwest, Europe and the rest of the world will ultimately lead to diminished harvests in an already food scarcity time. The western world will not suffer as profoundly as those in impoverished and drought-stricken regions. And yet, Death Valley experienced a one in 1200 year flood - again, my bets are on climate engineering to the level of trolling - and CNN is fear-mongering about an upcoming (potentially scheduled) massive flood in California. Extreme rainfall and heavy flooding have devastated locales from Pakistan to Mississippi.

None of us are truly aware of the extent that mad scientists and engineers are directing the slow destruction of the natural world (and humans) in order to usher in a dystopian Human 2.0 future - the merging of biological life with machines. Eventually, all of our other concerns will dim in comparison to the fight for authentic unadulterated human life. This will be the ongoing tragedy and battle of the Pluto in Aquarius cycle 2023 - 2044 and this column will speak to this more extensively in the years and months ahead.

In the meantime, we are still under the timeline of Pluto in Capricorn and much of the activity in September will be of an interpersonal nature rather than transpersonal in scope. Communication and self-expression will be highlighted with possibilities of misunderstandings very likely. That is because we will all be dealing with bruised egos and/or feelings of inferiority. The Leo Virgo archetypes speak to issues of self-perception and, on the extreme ends, we are dealing with the narcissistic Leo versus the totally subservient Virgo. Neither of these self images is correct, of course, and if we haven't found our center, much of our conflicts will arise around issues of respect, adoration or dismissal.

The antidote is some level of detachment and a deeper grounding in the spiritual dimension of life, one where we are in touch with the divine essence of everything and where all of life is equally beautiful and equally important. Patriarchal society is one that creates hierarchy and separation and we have all been dealing with the downside fallout of this overarching ideology for millennia, which much of it coming to a head in the last decade and 1/2 courtesy of Pluto (deconstruction) in Capricorn (status quo).

The healthy side of Leo is a generosity and an open heart while the worthy expression of Virgo is service to a higher cause. Imbalances of those energies cause many interpersonal problems which we may encounter en masse this month.

We're coming off the Uranus retrograde station of Aug 25th whereby one aspect of our lives may have been upended in order to release us from stagnation or perceived imprisonment. Whatever shook out could have created an emotional or financial mess. But it was necessary for our liberation so that we could live more authentically.

Our third Mercury retro of the year begins on Sept 9th in Libra and reverses back into Virgo on the 24th suggesting a review of "the right way of doing things". Virgo is very particular and while we may want to address things civilly, if the fine points aren't attended to, it's all just fluff. We can arrive at greater functionality by Oct 2nd when Mercury turns direct and the real implementation occurs on the Pluto station Oct 8th.

If there are last minute compromises before a final decision, they can also be arrived at during this Mercury retrograde period.

Uranus will be slowly retrograding at 18 degrees all month long so will continue to burn away at the entrapments that were relinquished at the end of August. It will take a while to pick up the pieces so be patient with yourself and others. The results of the separations/epiphanies of August will reverberate for years to come.

And the main epiphanies surround what we think has value in our lives and in the world - and the old rules or attachments no longer work or are valid. The beautiful designer clothes, while once cherished, don't really bring as much pleasure or excitement while consumption has lost its glow. Expensive dining out may be replaced with simple home-cooking and time spent outdoors is more enjoyable than a night on the town. The infinite consumption model is not viable and we are seeing the consequences of extracting resources from a finite planet in terms of increased poverty, environmental disasters and social unrest.

Those in charge have a plan for us, but it is not one that will serve the majority of humankind. As we turn away from a destructive mode of living and put our focus on simple and beautiful human interactions and sharing, the coldness and emptiness of the technological future becomes gut-wrenchingly apparent.

We always have a chance to revisit or rework issues during Mercury retrograde periods and in Libra we may be focusing on contractual arrangements and personal affairs. We don't particularly want to torch everything to the ground, particularly as the volatility from August is still subsiding. Yet, it's important to set the record straight or seek better terms.

ACCELERATING TOWARD A BRAND NEW LIFE

It will be a volatile month, one where literal or figurative earthquakes will erupt, seemingly out of nowhere. I say seemingly because tensions have been brewing for some time and now we are at a breaking point concerning important issues that have been denied or held at bay.

Additionally, ongoing financial, resource and supply chain issues could intensify. This is due to the exact conjunction of Mars (activation), Uranus (chaos) and the North Node (destiny) in Taurus (the sign of earth and values). While none of this may be welcome, it is necessary. For too long an outdated and ineffective system (predatory capitalism) has been in place and short term expedient decisions on the part of lawmakers and financial institutions have led to untenable long term consequences. We must now reset the table, but not in the manner the elite would want.

There are ways to improve food distribution, primarily through regenerative and local markets. Uranus stations always coincide with breakups, breakdowns, breakthroughs. One's level of flexibility will determine whether this is painful or not. If we are unwilling to let the changes happen, they will break us. But if we are open to the surprises the universe is sending our way, then we can manage the volatility with less stress.

To reiterate, the shock and awe of the Uranus station brings to a head rapid and necessary change in at least one area of life. We are meant to grow and change and when we've been resistant or in denial, external forces must well up to "encourage" an acceleration or separation. In the end, it is liberatory and we will find that what we lost - person, worldview, situation - was no longer commensurate with our evolution.

This is true on the larger world stage as well. Uranus in Taurus is asking us to rethink the importance of money, the value of natural resources, the nature of stability, the quality of the environment. It is important that we break away from stagnant, deleterious or unproductive matters and set out on a new course. While crypto is presented as the answer to financial liberation, it may still be controlled by a predatory power system and may be turned into another type of surveillance prison where every interaction is logged (or potentially blocked) on the blockchain.

New systems must be born out of changing ideologies and evolving consciousness so like the internet that promised individual freedom and a leveling of the playing field, once in the hands of dominant forces, it simply became another tool of oppression/suppression. So the freedom we all need to encounter is that of liberation from the old system of dominance/submission and this includes our willingness to participate or support the abuser. When we are free to determine our own self-worth (Taurus), then we are less reliant on receiving praise or approval from others. Then we have our mental and emotional sovereignty and, in knowing our actual worth as creators, we can start to organize a system that is supportive of our individuality rather than suppressing our genius.

JULY 2022 HOROSCOPES

CHANNELING AND DIRECTING ENERGY IN THE MOST

PRODUCTIVE WAY

Even though it's the summer season, the Aries initiatory energy will be strong all month long. Not only is Jupiter firing up in the sign of activism and individualism, but likewise Chiron will be retrograding in the same arena on July 18th. We are halfway through the Chiron journey of healing and self-discovery or "rediscovery" and many of the recent events have brought up old trauma or reactivated the wounded healer in us. The active outcry re: the Roe v. Wade decision does set us back but it is concurrent with a renewed vigor for the fight for women's rights and bodily autonomy. Not that there isn't hypocrisy all around regarding what behaviors or mandates we want to have imposed.

Mars is violence and while I believe many of the school shootings are orchestrated - or the result of pharmacological and mental health issues - these tragedies are front and center. There is no need for assault weapons in a civil society unless that society is fighting for its sovereignty. But military grade weapons are a passe form of control as we are now bombarded with radio wave frequencies, electromagnetic and nano particles and very sophisticated forms of propaganda and behavior modification. Guns are a last resort of primitive control. The powers that be would rather they harvest our data and energy than outright kill us.

Yet, however horrific the tragedies of distorted violence are, pent up frustration must be expressed. We all must get in touch with our Mars function because it is the agent through which we accomplish things and or display courage. Action is required to change things, not passive forms of resistance on social media. But one of the main forms of liberation and independence is to remove our fascination and attachment with power and privilege.

The beginning of the month reveals how negatively or unfairly the power elite operate. The Mars square Pluto aspect presents a David and Goliath scenario against a monolithic power. While we may be distracted by culture war issues - and they are important - there is a larger more invisible form of domination and control occurring everyday with our submission to patriarchal ideologies, primarily capitalism and consumption.

The 4th of July weekend will be rife with pro - abortion marches and certainly chaos and disorder may occur. The use or rather misuse of force may be evident to those participating so it is imperative that protesters remain calm in an emotionally volatile situation. In our ordinary lives, we may find our fuses are short and may observe more interpersonal conflict and pushback, particularly by corporate or institutional forces.

How do we use power wisely? Are we motivated by fear or compassion or righteous rage? And even if apparently noble, are we recognizing how political forces seek to divide and conquer? Left and right should unite in the arena of bodily sovereignty and this means the freedom to chose or refuse any type of medical intervention, especially if directed by corporate state institutions. We know the powers that be are corrupt to the core and while it is cartoonishly evident with bought and paid for Republicans, the same is true for democrats. The cognitive dissonance regarding progressive values and freedom is enormous. Equal rights for all include the rights of those who disagree with you, even if racists, sexists or anti-scientism, scientism being the new secular religion. Extreme left and right are simply opposite ends of the same pole of totalitarian fascism and the forcing of one's ideology onto others against their will or preference.

It would behoove us to learn to nurture ourselves and those around us and this includes tolerance of the different shades of humanity. The progressive agenda, if pursued authentically, is a benevolent and expansive one. But it has unfortunately been coopted by corporate forces to usher in a world that actually goes against any notion of humanity and its conscious evolution. So in this time of Aries, try to steer clear of labels and camps because those hinder our individuation and self-actualization, the necessary cornerstones of true independence.

As we begin the Independence Day holiday weekend, fireworks may occur in the realm of social, political or personal relationships. Mars has renewed vigor to "fight the power" and seek individual freedom.

Yet, those in power - the elite, the government, military and corporate entities - are not interested in sharing their hegemony. Hence they may come down hard on dissent and or support the power line. The fact that Amazon and CVS will be limiting the sale of the morning after pill in response to the recent unfair ruling of the supreme court shows that the corporate/fascist state is alive and well.

As mentioned, we are midway through a 4 year transit of Chiron through Aries. For those in their early 50's, they are experiencing a Chiron return where there is a chance to integrate the original wounding. This wounding is the result of not being seen for who one truly was. Hence, depression and rage are oftentimes the outgrowth of such personal history. Yet, we all have an Aries house of self-determination and Chiron travelling through there will unearth previously suppressed instances of rejection or lack of acknowledgement by significant others, starting with parents.

Since 2018 we have been on the journey of awakening to the power of our anger if expressed healthily. If the original perpetrator is no longer available or refuses a confrontation, one can still release these difficult feelings through movement, exercise, process work, creativity, sex or activism.

Suppressed rage can manifest physically as migraines, strokes, head injuries and brain inflammation. It may not be a coincidence that so many of the issues regarding covid and/or vaccine reactions manifest in inflammation and strokes because most of us have some pain, frustration and despair around our ability to express our true selves. Fear creates conformity .And as current times seem to demand more and submission to the mob (on whatever side), we are going to notice more instances of emotional conflagration.

Yet, despite these awarenesses, the retrograde of Chiron on July 18th will bring a little pause to the constant need for "fixing" oneself. You can take a step back and see how much progress you have made to date in becoming your more authentic self in this area of life:


ARIES - acknowledging that you are angry (can seem silly for the firebrand sign but oftentimes anger manifests as depression or addiction)

TAURUS - realizing you are not a passive individual, you burn deep with passion

GEMINI - allowing yourself to veer from the crowd brings you back to self, doesn't matter what others say or how they perceive you, particularly on social media

CANCER - grasping that your father was very angry and may not have expressed this feeling in healthy ways - under or over emoting might have been his modus operandi

The Chiron epiphanies can oftentimes be excruciating because you realize how much of yourself your gave away or shut down in order to please the original bully/authority. But as they had coopted your power, you were neutralized and deactivated. Getting in touch with you anger about this repression will unlock a volcano of energy and emotion, the likes of which can be channeled into more productive means, particularly in alighting your personal spark of genius. This is the work of the alchemist and there is no better time than now.

And while Jupiter is always positive regardless of its forward or retrograde motion, the efforts expended in the last few months may be allowed to slow down for further percolation. As with all of the other energy in Aries, there is a forcefulness and willfulness to the proceedings. Ideally we are looking at righteous actions aimed at freeing oneself and others from restricting circumstances.

Jupiter will turn direct in the fall so take some time to collect your thoughts and observe where your efforts will most bear fruit later in the year here:

As I have written many times before, we are in the midst of grand historical cycles, ones that includes the resolution of three significant periods in American history.

The U.S. Pluto return, exact December 2022, instigates the need for a new course correction for this country, one that advances the original intent of freedom and liberty for all. Of course, there are forces, one both sides, that would prefer the status quo and are pressing hard with all of their tools - including psychological and biological ones - to keep us locked in division and fear.

If we think that only one side is evil, we are caught in the matrix game. Both sides play and exchange their parts as designated villains while retaining the control of the narrative. We must wake up beyond this devilishly destructive ploy. Additionally, we are reprising the Civil War era where the inequities must be rebalanced. The woke agenda appears to demand more equality but it is still couched in ways that will not disable the original inequality of powered money elites and the rest of us. If we are fighting black and white battles we are being played. Don't punch sideways, punch up at who yields and directs the conflict from afar.

Lastly, in more recent decades, Uranus in Taurus is rewinding us to the 1930's with all of its positive and negative manifestations. Fascism is the obvious one - and remember Nazism was a distorted form of socialism and other isms have also failed miserably. Ecological suicide is no longer localized as it was during the Dust Bowl era, and we must all learn to live on a finite planet.

So in closing, there are actually bigger issues than gun control and Roe v. Wade, however potentially individually life-threatening they are. They disappear in comparison to environmental collapse which will affect all of humanity. So despite the rage these issues engender (and we can still fight) it behooves us to also focus on the biggest threat of all as no planet, no people. The reality is No planet = no guns = no culture wars. Resisting the techno fascist military industrial pharma cabal - i.e. government as usual - is way to save all of life and then we can go back to politicking as usual. That is the freedom worth fighting for on this most important of Independence Day!

JUNE 2022 HOROSCOPES

ENJOYING THE CLARITY OF A NEW START

While the most profound astrology any year revolves around Pluto stations in April and October, we end up dealing with the fallout or opportunity over the next six months. End of April hosted a Pluto station retro with a beginning solar eclipse in Taurus while in May we may have become despondent over the sad lunar eclipse mid-month. Mercury retro in Gemini has only exacerbated or unearthed old wounds.

Yet, these visitations from the past (or release from the past) serve only to clear the ground for a new life to begin. In the relatively short run, we will see greater manifestation of the changes initiated or released in November of this year.

And while Pluto and Uranus bring us to obvious crossroads, in the background Neptune in Pisces is continuing to confuse, misdirect or inspire. In the current reality, we are bombarded with so much information, yet so little truth. Do any of us really know what is going on in Ukraine, the origins of the pandemic, the nature of the proposed WHO global treaty, the impending climate collapse?

Instead, we are bombarded with the same disheartening partisan issues such as abortion and gun rights with a big side dish of celebrity gossip. While those issues are real and serious, the fact that the party in power seems powerless to change things is in itself an incredulous thought.

But, of course, we live in a Truman show world and Neptune is obfuscating the real destruction of technocratic and militaristic corporatism whereby a handful of companies and organizations dictate the political script.

We are here now to understand the true nature of the game and not be caught up in the matrix any longer. Yes, I believe we have to live in a split screen world in order to communicate with those in the consensus reality. But concurrently, we must awaken to our true powers as divine creators or simply "classic" humans and inhibit the goals of the transhumanist agenda. This is not about sci-fi predictions. The already merger of humans and technology via smartphones (in the hand), transitioning into wearables (on the body) into nanotechnology (inside the body and the brain) is well on its way. How far do we want to go and what will become of our natural selves in the process?

As Neptune turns direct end of month, on a practical note, we will discover previously hidden information or motives. We may gain clarity of a situation or understand there are nuances and bias. The best use of Neptune in Pisces is to craft a different narrative for your life, not from an ego perspective but rather from an alignment with your inner soul mission. While there are those who are attempting to design nightmares for humanity, we must counterbalance by creating beautiful and fiercely loving dreams for our future. We all have work to do and the main job is to maintain our humanity in the face of the madmen who would chose a hybrid reality over a divinely infused one - nature.

With Gemini, we are dealing with issues concerning truth and lies or an inability to make a decision. We may waver in our Gemini house and find ways to rationalize behaviors or encounters even if they do not sit well with our gut.

Since Saturn moved into Aquarius in spring of 2020, the spheres of technology and surveillance have only gotten stronger. Saturn reveals (as Pluto moving later in Aquarius will thunderously show) the strengths and weaknesses of a sign.

Aquarius deals with the future, with groups, collectivist ideology and technology. We need look no further than the ubiquity of social media and it's mixed bag of positive and unfortunately ill effects. And it's even more disheartening to realize that psychologists and engineers have colluded to make the online experience addictive and emotionally toxic.

Saturn also suggests boundaries and this is where we can take some responsibility in what we consume and consider a worthwhile use of our time (another Saturn word).

Alternatively, prior to technology, Aquarius was connected to the idea of universal love, suffrage and a beautiful "separate but equal" world view. That view collides with the notion of a regimented technocratic Borg future of social credit scores determined by an unelected bureaucracy.

FINDING THE LIGHT AND COURAGE WITHIN

After the tumult of last month's dramatic changes, courtesy of Pluto stationing retrograde and the Solar Eclipse in Taurus, the party doesn't stop. Yet, now, we will be assisted by the fiery energy of Jupiter entering Aries on May 11th.

The Jupiter in Pisces transit, which included the magical Jupiter/Neptune conjunction of inspiration last month, nevertheless, has been somewhat limpid and disorienting. That is because the growth and abundance are happening on the spiritual plane rather than the material one. If we've grown closer to "god" or our divine mission, the Jupiter in Pisces tour has done it's work. If we were left meandering or losing ambition, it was likely doing its job to remove us from our ego constructs.

Jupiter in Aries will fire us up and while we will still revisit Jupiter in Pisces later in the fall, we will be in full blown activation mode once Jupiter permanently installs in Aries in January 2023.

The second Mercury retrograde of the year occurs in the actual sign of communication and learning. This can bring us into contact with old memories of our youth. Gemini represents the sense of self we "cultivated" in childhood and hence, those with a strong Gemini imprint somehow never feel grownup enough, no matter much they've actually achieved. They are distracted by inner stories of weakness and ill-preparedness, this again no matter how studious or skilled the individual is.

So this short retrograde period allows us one last look at our emotional and intellectual education and we can choose to reeducate ourselves and approach life as curious students rather than confused children.

Can we be flexible and learn new methods here? This may only happen once we revisit the original imprint during this short Mercury retro cycle which ends on June 3rd.

Jupiter, the planet of abundance and opportunity moves into the initiatory sign of Aries on May 11th.

This Jupiter cycle will be a boon for all fire signs and those ruled by Jupiter - i.e. Sagittarius and Pisces. Yet, we will all feel very motivated in our Aries house for the next 11 months. (Everything about Aries is fast, including it's alliance with Jupiter). But, don't be fooled - a lot can happen when we are charged up and excited about life!

Selfishness can abound and this can take different forms. What society may decide is selfish may simply be a person not conforming to the status quo. If we are showing courage and aligning with our true selves, Selfish is the way to go.

Last month we encountered a new solar eclipse in Taurus on 4/30 that pointed us toward a new chapter in our lives. Throughout the last four years of Uranus in Taurus, our values and old ideals have changed and we have broken free into a new paradigm.

The lunar eclipse on May 16th may reveal where we might be stuck in old patterns or having difficulty letting go of the past.

Invariably, we cannot go backward and this was probably made abundantly clear last month with more indications on Oct of this year.

RELINQUISHING THE NEED FOR AN OUTER AUTHORITY FIGURE

We are fast approaching the end of the 16 year Pluto in Capricorn cycle this year and next. As we move farther into the sign, the intensity and harshness of the messages increase. Pluto in Capricorn has been about unearthing the abuse of the patriarchy and our role in supporting or being burdened by hierarchy. For those will heavy cardinal sign placements in Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, the last decade and a half has brought tremendous upheaval and loss. And this has extended out into the world as Capricorn deals with "reality" and the systems that uphold society.

Capricorn is The Devil card in tarot. Amongst its many meanings, the one I feel is most relevant is the idea of "what owns me". What do I attach myself to willingly because I think it may help me pragmatically or allow me to achieve my (usually material) aims? This is the corporate job with the corner office and big title and salary but in a role or field that one hates. It is deciding to play the game even if it hurts others in your life. It is choosing the head and its machinations over the heart.

We can see how such corruption of decent values has been entombed in institutions, governments, religious organizations, finance, the military where "the ends justify the means". To heck with how many people are sacrificed or hurt in the process.

And even if we dance with the devil as we would within any mafia organization - think the military, the medical industrial complex, politics - we are bound to fall from grace at some moment in time and be kicked to the curb.

The multitude of world leaders of a neoliberal sort have now sold their souls to the WEF whose goal is to create a centralized unelected bureaucratic world government where democracy will take a back seat to corporate or political or military interests. This is the essence of fascism and it exists in all countries and states who bow down to multinationals while disregarding or overtly destroying the needs of the citizenry. And yes, cartoon dictators and oligarchs are no better but they make no pretense of being a "democracy" unlike the U.S., Canada, Australia, the UK who appear to morally care about human rights in their countries and abroad while committing atrocities in freedom's name.

But dictators are the outward abusers who have come into power through force and magnetism and while much occurs through subterfuge, in many instances the populace is a willing accomplice. This is especially true in Western nations where people cheered for crackdowns and lockdowns, their own imprisonment, in the last 2 years of covid hysteria.

Things are not what they seem and it behooves us to understand the dynamics of power and to withdraw our fascination with forcefulness and sham exceptionalism. While somewhat in the rear view mirror, the created trauma and fallout of January 2020's Saturn/Pluto conjunction in the guise of the covid pandemic will be here to stay. All the subsequent destruction was the result of a fearful narrative which served the goal of greater centralization of global power.

Many will not wake up from the nightmare of complicity and self-annihilation at the hands of the pharmaceutical industry while others will realize their sold their souls and their health for a false promise of biological and emotional security. Those who failed to get on board were punished with loss of job, money, title, community support and ostracization of all kinds. And the good germans in our midst cheered and berated from the sidelines.

Where does our power lie? How to deal with the abuser? How to incorporate the need for action and self expression in a healthy and positive way? That was and still is the journey of Pluto in Capricorn which for Americans will be experienced through the U.S. Pluto return. Will we bring back true democracy to this country or will we live in a facsimile with less and less agency and freedom? That is our choice to make and the two party duopoly does not want you to wake up to the Punch and Judy show of designated villains, whether they be Joe Manchin, Mitch McConnell, Vladimir Putin. Not that these particular men are not despicable, but they are playing a role and the handsome devils of Trudeau, Macron, Arden, Newsom are also revealing their true colors and they are not ones of liberty, but rather of fascism to a globalist world view.

So what owns you? With the exception of those we love, the answer lies in what you are most afraid of losing. So if it's money, a reputation, status, security, social approval, you may decide to get in bed with the devil.

To relinquish the goals of power and money through aligning with the abuser can seem like a lot to ask and most of us do not choose that willingly. But right not, it may possibly be the only way we can change the trajectory of self-annihilation that we are on.

The old world of masters and slaves is dying. What do we want to build instead that is worthy of our nature as divine beings?

When Jupiter moves into Aries mid-March, there will be no doubt regarding what we want and we will have the balls to ask for it. In the meantime, with Jupiter in Pisces in a dance with Saturn in Aquarius, we might tentatively flow in one direction, only to feel blocked or restricted. The conjunction of Jupiter/Neptune in Pisces this month gives us a rare opportunity to envision a new story for our lives and our respective communities, nations and the world. But it's not all fairytales and unicorns as Neptune in Pisces has been active (since 2011) as a negative force as well, confusing if not outright propagating empire serving agendas. And because the world is in such disarray and trauma, we are likely to shrink away from confrontation and seek safety, even if it is bogus or tinged with compromise. For instance, UBI is a credible and desirable tool, but if it is only made available through the abandonment of personal freedoms and elimination of employment opportunities, it will be a diseased gift horse of totalitarian overreach.

Pluto in Capricorn in this last year if imploring us to look and see who the real villains are - and because of Neptunian illusions, they are not likely to be the ones that we are told to hate. Pluto is about projection so if you want to know who is in charge, find the source that cannot be questioned. One of the gifts of a sovereign being is the ability to judge for oneself and to note and question the consensus narrative.

And the center of knowing is the heart, not the mind. The mind, just like much of media, entertainment, pr is there to confuse, enervate, diffuse our life force energy. Psychologists have sold their souls to tech and media companies so that now we can be triggered and corralled at will - and we think that programmed thoughts are our own.

The dreams of the future are just that if they are not implemented and hence while we can capture the vision this month, we will have to take action in the months ahead. Disable your abuser (your internal and external authority figure), find your courage and step into the full flowering of your being. The time is nigh as the potential to become our full selves may be coopted by governmental and corporate actors who only have their profits and power in mind.

Many of us know we are swimming in a sea of lies (narrative control) and yet we can change the inner reaction anytime we want. It just takes discernment and healing of personal triggers.

If we can fly above the conventional noise and storyline, we can find a greater sense of connection with the divine and our own essence and this is when we become fully human and free of outside coercion.

Embracing the Paradoxical Beauty of Independence and Community

Last month we broke free of the regressive and painful grip that Pluto and the Venus retrograde wrought on us through December and January. The month of March gives us a taste of where the energy will fire up more powerfully in the late spring.

When all the planets are in direct motion, as they are now until end of April, it is best to try new things, move forward on novel plans, engage in new relationships.

Yet, the relationships may be different than what we have traditionally been accustomed to. Of course, many of us now count our friends as family and that will increase even more as Aquarius becomes the dominant energy, starting March 2023, when Pluto enters the sign of technology, science, humanity.

We've already seen the dark side of technology and the thrust to get us all digitized financially and biologically. Yet, this is not the only archetype of Aquarius. We also famously know of the age of Aquarius, a time of greater acceptance of differences and the forging of equal alliances. But without keeping the freaky in Aquarius, we can fall into Borg mentality, which is basically totalitarianism.

At least for this month, we can explore the more fun, positive aspects of Aquarius - innovation, eccentricity, individuality, brilliance, exotic connections - as Mars and Venus will be travelling through the sign of eclecticism, meeting in a conjunction on March 7th. In the end, Aquarius/Uranus is about breaking free from the pack, destabilizing the institutions that hold us back - government, financial institutions, religion and universities. It is true that we will - and are - encountering much of the bad version of this energy with cancel culture and censorship abounding.

Additionally, when technology is weaponized by the state, as is the case with freezing the bank accounts and donation sites of the trucker's convoy, we realize any of us can be next (or we should be aware of this possibility). Just because your ideology is the flavor of the moment does not guarantee it's ascendency or longevity.

And in the manufactured Aquarian vibe of one world/one love, it could once again be the ruse of a one world government with unelected faceless bureaucrats deciding our fates. Those of us on the left must wake up to the tyranny in our midst. It is not just the far right that is fascist. Anytime we align with government against its citizens, we are potentially on the firing line a little ways down the road.

And we all must become more discerning about the media we consume, particularly when the spokesperson has a vested interest in a particular outcome as has shamefully been the case with doctors who are shills for big pharma and now military experts who own stock in defense companies. Are these people not highly compromised? Find the news source that does not have a financial stake in the game and you will find the real truth.

This will be quite challenging now as reports about the war with Russia will be one-sided only. There is no doubt that Putin is a rapacious and uncontrollable despot, but there is more than meets the eye. We are in for a major re-alignment of world powers, but it is not likely that Russia will be one of them. This is the last gasp of a dying empire, similar to our own hegemonic decline. And while the cries of Ukraine's democracy are tossed about, the main issue is one of resource control and extraction. As always, innocent civilians and soldiers are collateral damage for elitist agendas.

Besides Aquarian vibes, we will also be leading up to a mesmerizing Neptune/Jupiter conjunction in April. The Sun, Mercury , Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces all speak to the ephemeral. Now when we here that word, we usually think dreamy, otherworldly, mysterious. Ephemeral can also mean lacking substance, focus on appearance over reality, fleeting encounters. Bad ephemera are advertising, marketing, PR, entertainment, NFT's (the jury is still out on crypto) with an agenda and propaganda, including major media. What again is truth or what is the appearance of truth? Whose stories can we believe?

It is easy and sometimes preferable to be narcotized by the news, Netflix, video games but zoning out will not build a better world. In fact, the desire to escape increases when the world itself is becoming more and more unbearable. A good dose of courage will be needed to wake some of the sleeping and, thankfully, Aries energy will help to save the day and bring some necessary fight to the proceedings. And no, we do not need to battle in the physical form, but slay the inner demons of disillusionment, despair, weaknesses, hopelessness, helplessness and victim consciousness. Movies, drugs, sex, consumerism will not set us free. Mastery of self will lead to mastery of the immediate environment, if not the larger world, and you may be the one tiny grain of sand that topples the entire edifice.

Any review of history will note that empires rise and others fall. America and the Western concept of nation states is being challenged right now. Neptune will be in Pisces until 2026 continuing to confuse, enervate and weaken the minds of the populace while Pluto in Capricorn may force the elites to react desperately to maintain control. The Russian/Ukraine conflict may simply be the power keg that does lead to WW3. Instead of believing it is inevitable and swallowing the official propaganda, educate yourself as to the truth of this global situation. It may be disillusioning to realize that daddy, i.e. authority figures, i.e. politicians, i.e. ministers i.e. doctors have been lying to us all along. FEBRUARY 2022 HOROSCOPES

JUMPING BACK INTO LIFE AFTER A PERIOD OF REFLECTION

Last month could have been excruciating and emotionally disabling, especially if one has numerous planets in Capricorn. Venus' slow retrograde through the sign of regret, disappointment, failure, collapsing structures touched every degree that Pluto has traversed since 2011. Hence, any loss or failure you encountered over this period could have returned in ghost form. Not only that, you may have also revisited themes and storylines from Dec 2013 - 2014. The reality is different this time, but some of the underlying feelings of despair, shame or frustration could have repeated themselves.

Thankfully, we will never have to go down this road again. Once Pluto touches a planet, it and you are changed forever. With Venus relating to values, we were tested as to whether we had really changed as much as we say we did - and the answer is usually yes. But there can be a temptation to try to go backwards or take on the projections or values of our parents, society and peer group. Certainly, in the last two years, we have been tested as to our "loyalty" to a consensus reality narrative of massive death and obedience. But if one followed orders, they failed the chance to become the master of their own life.

Since 2008, we have experienced the dark side of Capricorn (patriarchy and hierarchy) and we were propelled to withdraw our fascination with faulty symbols of power and authority. By now, we should know that the government is captured by corporations, the parties are barely distinguishable in terms of action (yes, the platforms are ostensibly different but both factions support oligarchy in the end).

If we've realized we can't go back home again, we are free to jump into the future. This will be especially clear after Mercury turns direct on Feb 4th. Who deserves to own power? Who should we trust? Do leaders actually serve their citizens or their global masters?

The Uranus station mid January did not bring action motion excitement, but was important nonetheless as global leaders did an about face around the covid narrative. All of a sudden, omicron isn't so bad and perhaps mandates/masks, etc. may not be so vital. Of course, it is likely there is an economic consideration at play as well the leaking evidence that the vaccines are not as safe or effective as promised. We will know the fuller extent of the damage imposed on populations when Pluto moves into Aquarius next March and it conveniently coincides with the actual end of the trial phase.

As a distraction from civil and economic woes, the sad playbook includes the potential for war. Americans and soldiers everywhere should realize that they are pawns in an oligarch's playbook and when we are able to provide DOD with billions of dollars and yet can't provide free healthcare, it should be clear that our health and well-being are not top priority.

Besides Pluto and Uranus, another energy that we will become more enveloped in is that of Neptune/Pisces. We already have been living through Neptune in Pisces since 2011 and the negative form of the archetype - deception, propaganda, conspiracy, illusion - has become more and more pervasive. We may reap some of the positive aspects now with Jupiter in Pisces for much of this year. (Jupiter will move into Aries in the summer months but for now its stay in Pisces will be emphasized, particularly when the Sun and inner planets will also be travelling thru the sign of the artist, the poet, the guru, the victim).

Jupiter and Pluto will connect in various ways this month and ideally we can find ways to merge our vision with authentic power, not sham power.

For the next several months (until end of April) all the planets will be in forward motion so it is time to initiate new ideas, try new actions and behaviors, develop different stories for your life. That wonderful idea, however, can still be suppressed by the powers that be - the boss, your parents, your partner. We don't have to fight it directly, just continue to remove our enthrallment with power and status. The world will no longer abide by such dog eat dog mentalities and the power of love will overthrow the power of fear. The work that we must do is step into our authenticity and live with integrity and purpose. Our self worth is not determined by anyone else, no matter the current dystopian reality where the most psychopathic rule.

And the narrative regarding the death of democracy as propounded by neoliberal commentators is a distraction from the real coup d'etat - that of the oligarchic control of the planet in which citizens desires and rights are obliterated by unelected individuals and bureaucrats who only support greater inequality and tyranny of the rich. We must stop fighting amongst ourselves and realize that our neighbor of different political, religious, cultural or medical status is still more like ourselves than the super rich and predatory.

Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces can obfuscate the truth with false narratives and repressions of truth. But this can only happen so long and only because we believe we are victims and deserve less, all the voices of the subconscious mind. It's time to awaken the inner warrior and he/she/they knows much of the storyline is false and that happiness and fulfillment come from connection, right work and right relationship with the earth. The rest is a sad and empty substitute. Listen to the heart and you will find the answer.

JANUARY 2022 HOROSCOPES

Realigning with a Purposeful Set of Values

While Jan 1st on the Julian calendar indicates a new year, we will not really feel the essence of 2022 until the end of January when Venus turns direct in Capricorn.

As Capricorn represents the hierarchy, consensus reality and the past, its retrograde cycle (Dec 18th - Jan 29th) will have us revisit our old notions of power, success, money and status. The classic forms may reappear again in the guise of a conventionally successful partner or business contact, a corporate entity, "old money" etc and we are charged with deciding whether this value system fits us (or ever really did). We all do have some sense of conservatism and staidness in our Capricorn houses no matter how unconventional we are in other areas.

But as Capricorn values are decided by those at the top of the pyramid to ensure continued power, they usually do not work for the majority of us. Yet, the spine of puritanical "blueblood" thinking will still pervade our lives in different ways.

On another note, January generally does not blast off until the Uranus station direct, this year on Jan 20th. Uranus which is revolution/evolution/chaos/destabilization, did show its head early last year with the Jan 6th insurrection. I do not suspect that such an occurrence will happen again and while we can decry those actions and the failed attempted coup, we must understand that much of the actual tyranny and democratic stealing actually happens in broad daylight where every governmental agency is corporate captured. The Trumpist rioters were lurid child players against the true power grab that has happened in the FDA, CDC, EPA, CIA, DOD, over the last few decades where a corporate fascist state dictates what the media and politicians do.

The state/the machine/the borg are all colluding in the hydra of big tech, big pharma, big media, and big finance. How can we retain not only our individuality but also our humanity in the face of such an beast system.

Uranus is a liberatory energy so hopefully we will all feel a little more emboldened to take peaceful action to retain our dwindling freedoms such as right to travel, movement, work and bodily choice.

The nodes of karma/dharma will also exit Gemini/Sag and move into Taurus/Scorpio on January 19th, close to the Uranus station. The nodes will demonstrate what areas need a fresh energetic spin with the north node while the south node will reveal where we've exhausted our resources/actions/beliefs.

While Gemini/Sag was a very mental axis - and we can certainly witness how much of the public's minds were broken in the last couple of years, the axis of Taurus/Scorpio will bring us into the emotional/material realm. With the north node in Taurus, it will be time to focus on simple material manifestation of security while the south node in Scorpio is asking us to get rid of drama and or/corrosive karmic arrangements. If you have been bought for power and prestige, you may see a fall from grace and there may be a purging of dark underwater deals.

Our first Mercury retro of the year begins on Jan 14th in Aquarius and ends up in Capricorn on Feb 4th. Aquarius is the future and Capricorn is the past. Aquarius is revolutionary, Capricorn is conventional. Yet, one can't be so "out there" that no one can understand you so it is important to be able to ground radical ideas in more traditional formats or communications.

We had a similar Mercury retro last Jan/Feb 2020 so it is possible that we may be completing or revisiting an issue that was discussed last year.

Every January, life throws us some curveballs courtesy of Uranus stationing direct. Last year's preview was Jan 6th with the insurrection that baffled and disturbed the nation. But that was the end result of not allowing healthy revolution/evolution to take place. Uranus demands that we break free from the past and forge a new direction. It is ideally the transit of liberation. But if distorted in its expression, it shows up as chaos.

Our current Uranus in Taurus transit (2018 - 2026) reprises the decade of the 1930's and in a disturbingly similar fashion we are dealing with fascist and dictatorial tendencies (in both the left and the right), mass psychosis, financial unravelling of the middle and lower classes and grotesque environmental abuses. As astrology returns us to the scene of the crime, we are not meant to repeat the past, but to purge ourselves of the toxic detritus of the previous cycle. But that is only if we are aware of what is going on - the potential loss of western values, rule of law, individual rights and the use of prejudice and scapegoating to detract from serious problems in the system. While the GOP are hoodlums, the vanguard of the Democratic base is now taking on the form of "the good democrat" who will back whatever the totalitarian party requests without consideration of its truthfulness or sanity.

In our personal lives, we will continue to deal with upsets and divorces, sudden reversals as well as rapid acceleration of new ideas, projects and relationships. Those signs most affected by the Uranus in Taurus transit are the fixed ones of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio. emotional vs. financial security

The nodes of karma/dharma move out of Gemini/Sag and into Taurus/Scorpio for the next 18 months. As mentioned above, Gemini/Sag dealt with the mental plane, how we communicate and understand concepts large and small.

Taurus and Scorpio deal more with assets and security. For Taurus, assets do mean our material means whereas for Scorpio, security exists more in the emotional or psychological connections one cultivates. But in order to develop our emotional intelligence, we first need to have our most basic physical needs met - food, clothing, shelter. The North Node in Taurus will have us all focus on these most essential of necessities and their availability or limitations. It also suggests a more down to earth approach to handling problems and going back to square one. The south node in Scorpio asks us to release complicated and unequal attachments, manipulations and "shady deals". It is possible on the world stage we discover how our resources have been misused by those in charge.

Uranus in Taurus has been impelling us to reassess our values, including our excessive consumption habits and determine what is most important to economic and environmental survival. Hopefully we can reset our lives in such a way that they reflect respect for all of life.

Venus has been retrograde in Capricorn since last December 19th and will station direct end of the month. During this transit, Venus contacted Pluto and potentially resurrected some old relationships or professional or monetary goals. It is likely that these issues were more connected to who you were years ago, rather than who you are now. And even if not going far back in time, the last couple of years have forced us to reevaluate what power, money, success, status mean. Capricorn does relate to the consensus reality and notion of hierarchies and they usually have a classist bent. But as Pluto has been decimating these old constructs, similarly the old aspirations have probably lost their lustre. If indeed you are still pining for that stock broker or corner office, it is possible that these things have shown up in some way for you over this period, only to find that these fantasies/goals no longer suit you or the current moment.

December 2021 Horoscopes

December will be a revelatory month in many ways. It will show us where we have been deceived, deluded, naive and trusting in situations, people or ideologies that did not deserve our blind faith. Neptune turning direct on the 1st may shock the world with hidden truths large and small, particularly in regard to the covid pandemic narrative. We've already been hearing tales of the origin of the virus, the misallocation of funding, the corruption of agencies and the venality or fear of politicians and leaders. Drugs and treatments that were suppressed, trials that were botched or outright fake, misrepresentation of efficacy, etc. All to force people to comply to a larger agenda in which we are unwitting participants or victims.

If you think it's about your health, unfortunately you are sadly mistaken. If the govts around the world truly cared about your wellbeing, why have they not forbidden the use of chemicals in our food, water, air and bodies? Why have they not mandated free housing, medical care, support of regenerative agriculture and instead are attempting to monetize mother nature in her totality?

The hysteria surrounding yet another variant tells us that the media want this story to be kept alive no matter what. Fear, confusion, obfuscation are Neptune words and maybe some of us will awaken from this created nightmare and find ways to move forward alongside the existence of covid.

Neptune and Pisces are also about storytelling and narratives or, in the case of politics, propaganda. Marketing is propaganda lite, but we know that governments have been engaged in mass psychological operations throughout modern history. What is really going on and what are the motives behind it? Do we know the real truth about the state of our economy, environment and energy systems, the most likely areas in disarray? What are governments, politicians and big media trying to hide? And while it is not likely to yield the full picture, the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell may provide a tiny window into the level of corruption occurring amongst the most powerful.

Neptune in Pisces is also about our ideologies and beliefs. I admit to being a pretty blue lefty, but more in the old school mold of concern for the poor and working class and not in the advocacy of big tech, big defense, big pharma and big media. Despite all their performative gestures, the Democrats have failed on the majority of their election promises with no raised minimum wage, medicare for all, secure voting rights, abolition of student debt. No wonder the right wing populists have filled the vacuum with their tripe.

Another ungodly manifestation of Neptune in Pisces is Facebook's rebranding to Meta and the creation of an alternative virtual reality. I think most of our inner thoughts and dreams have more imaginative power than a computer generated interactive space. Should we not make the real world better rather than enticing us into a time-wasting electronic prison?

In our personal lives, we may gain information on previously hidden motives, actions or reasons for why a person disappeared or deceived us in some way. And to the point of victimization - and this is not to let the victimizer off the hook - but we must admit to allowing ourselves to be "played" because it is likely that we knew on some level that the situation was not right yet we went along with it. Why would we let this happen? There are myriad reasons, but in some cases, a bigger need was fulfilled - security or attachment to a belief, inner program.

There is a certain weakness or fantasy with Pisces, a lack of grounding and a desire to escape reality. How has this impulse played out in your personal, professional or political life?

Why are we so eager to belief in the falsehood? Most likely because challenging that illusion might shatter our entire world view. Cognitive dissonance - the big one - that authority figures know what's best and would always be trustworthy - is perhaps one of the gravest issues we are dealing with in the current moment.

The antidote to the circumstances we find ourselves in is in choosing to positively express the archetype in question. Neptune in Pisces is about compassion, faith in a higher power, understanding of the ephemeral nature of life. It is time to craft a different narrative away from fear and toward love and acceptance. It is only consciousness that will enable us to exit the current constructed narrative. Waking up will return us to an earthly paradise that is our divine birthright.

Who is an actor and who is telling the truth? Are they a hero or villain?

What is reality and what is fiction? We are living in strange times where the truth has been inverted and the good guys are bad and the bad guys are good. (Again, this will differ based on one's point of view).

But if a more natural law/truth applies, I would consider those who work for humanity rather than against it as a basic starting point to discern veracity.

Disillusionment is the "sin" of Neptune whereby our fantasy bubbles are burst by the sharp edge of reality.

In what ways, large or small, did you allow yourself to fall for a story because it fit with your inner narrative of how you wanted things to be? This could be in terms of a relationship promise, job offer, spiritual or political belief. This is a snap out of it moment!

Following closely on the heels of the Neptune station direct, we experience a solar eclipse in Sagittarius. This is the last of a recent series of eclipses on the Gemini/Sag axis of knowledge and information. How do we process words and thoughts and find ways to communicate their higher meaning?

We must let go of old notions of ourselves and world views, to grow up in order to face the current world squarely in the eye.

What childish or ill-formed ideas still determine your behaviors and actions?

We've all been conditioned in various ways and in the realm of Venus, it is around our value system. In Capricorn there is a tendency to desire status and power.

But this value system is generally steeped in materialism and judgement and is not helpful to making the world a more equitable or hospitable place.

The last of three Saturn/Uranus squares occurs on Dec 24th. (The previous two squares happened on February 17th and June 14th of 2021). This year we have been presented with the choice between continuing with business as usual versus changing with the times. While the compulsion to go backward was very strong this summer, by holiday's end and early January we will know we must move forward.

The conflict between breaking down old barriers (particularly of ostracization) and the embracing on new values (based on earth's grounded reality) can have placed us at odds with the world around us.

We are living in perilous yet exciting times and the entire decade of the 2020's will be rife with change and upheaval. It does not all have to be bad, but that will be determined by our willingness to face our personal and political demons and ability to act with impeccability.

Clear out the cobwebs, get right with your conscience, be willing to be wrong, step out of your comfort zone or your political or social identity and find those of like mind in the healthiest sense of the word. Those that believe and act in love, compassion and integrity and who are willing to stand up to real injustice that is hiding behind the curtains of mass hypnosis.

Neptune in Pisces is distorting the picture and making us weak. Do not be unduly influenced in a passive way but seek out proper information and listen to your gut. A minor or even major inconvenience will be worth a lifetime of submission to a psychotic system. NOVEMBER 2021 HOROSCOPES

Last month could have stressed and pressured us to make significant life decisions thanks to a series of outerplanetary stations. Now as we travel through the time of Scorpio we are impelled to process the various events, losses, awakenings that have rocked the foundations of our inner or outer worlds.

Pluto turning direct in Capricorn on Oct 5th on the degree of last January's Saturn/Pluto conjunction, (deconstruction of the current paradigm) was a powerful reminder that we will never return to normal again. As we were also experiencing a Mercury retro squaring the same degrees, October would reveal to us the necessary changes and destruction the pandemic narrative wrought in societies around the world. We have all been affected either directly or indirectly and last month's astrology would have highlighted where the necessary reevaluation of our lives and psyches would need to be conducted.

As Pluto in Capricorn deals with finance, governments, infrastructure, corporations, etc we see the continuing destruction of small businesses and the consolidation of large scale corporations. The Pandora papers detailed what most of knew to be true - that the wealthy hide their money in shady ways. Congress has remained dead in the water, or rather pantomiming action, with no important legislation making clear that our system doesn't need resuscitation but total transformation.

We must question where we give our power away and in the current narrative who, if anyone is telling the truth?

Most mainstream news outlets speak of a mass exodus from the workforce and speak of low pay and inequitable circumstances - but never about vax mandates which may account for many refusing to go back to work.  Should we give our power away to financially motivated big pharma companies, unelected bureaucrats, corporate captured agencies while being denied full accountability and even proper data?

I have spoken before of the Second American Revolution, coming in 2022 - 2024. Will we manage to save ourselves as a nation or will we die like previous empires? Left and right will fail to look in the mirror and accuse the other side of killing democracy. Both ARE guilty but both are also complicit in the same oligarchic game. There is no good father coming to save us. One of the necessities for maneuvering through abusive power dynamics is for us to retain our mental, emotional and physical autonomy.

This month we will thankfully be free of significant outerplanetary activity and it will be a time of integration or acceptance of the changes that occurred last month and/or development of new strategies to deal with the good and bad potentialities in store for us.

Next month, December, we will experience a grand reveal of the discrepancies in the narrative and hopefully a few more people will see the light in relation to their role and/or victimization in the proceedings.

After the dramatic impasses and miscommunications of last month, we may have learned how to improve power dynamics, particularly through understanding our earliest conditioning around authority. The recent experience may have been negligible but the feelings or remembrance of earlier distortions hopefully became more clear.

The world has changed dramatically since 2017 and 2018 and the lunar eclipse in Scorpio on Nov 19th reveals how our personal or professional lives have been affected. Two previous eclipses on the Leo/Aquarius axis of self vs the collective, one in Aug 2017 and the other in February of 2018, were prompting us to find our proper role in the world. Understand and Transforming Power Dynamics

October will be a momentous and fated month with many outer planets turning direct. Direct motion sets things in action that were already bubbling underneath the surface.

The main energy is Pluto direct in Capricorn, which has been an annual autumn phenomenon for the past few decades. It is super important this year as it correlates and lights up the energy of the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Jan 2020. This marked the official beginning of the pandemic with the first documented case in Wuhan.

Saturn/Pluto conjunctions relate to dramatic events that may start out small but lead to massive changes in society, good or ill. They also tend to be "false flags" in that the narrative we are being told covers up a more dire or nefarious intention. Consider that WWI (and the Spanish Flu), the storming of the Reichstag, Pearl Harbor and 9/11 all coincided with Saturn/Pluto aspects. And we should not conflate false flags with hoaxes. False flags do not mean the event did not happen, like moon walking deniers may suggest. It is simply that the story we are being told masks a darker and more manipulative agenda.

What is the nature of this recent conjunction? As I have pointed out ad nauseum, it is about deconstruction of the patriarchy, of the current world order. Capricorn relates to the powers that be, the institutions that govern our lives such as banking, politics, education, religion, the military and corporations, including health corporations. Pluto is the corruption of these institutions. Capricorn is also the top of the bureaucratic heap and this includes CIA, FDA, EPA, CDC and WHO. The pandemic and the subsequent fallout has been a boon for some of these organizations where they have taken on greater power or assumed larger roles in handling\manipulating this human tragedy.

To think that this was not all orchestrated in some way - and there is ample documentation if one is willing to look - is naive and places us in the role of victim/child. This is the essence of Pluto in Capricorn, revealing the perpetrator and/or reliving an abusive situation in adult form. Many of us have given our power away to organizations that really don't care about us, and this first and foremost includes the medical industrial complex and regulatory agencies. Barring covid, why is it that we have such an unhealthy population? We have some of the most sophisticated medical technology but also a massive amount of sick or chronically ill citizens. Our denatured food, poisoned air and water, over prescribing of dangerous medications all contribute to a population that is not living its best life.

Pluto in Capricorn is also important for the United States and the era of nation states. This country is approaching it's first Pluto return in 2022 -2023 and the current scenario is stretching us to the limit. Not only in terms of institutional failure, but also in terms of freedom and human rights. The left has become especially hypocritical as they shout for free choice when it comes to abortions while also mandating medical interventions.

What is the meta purpose of all of this? As sovereign human beings, we are being forced to take back our power, to be the adults, to say no to the abusers and to out them. Rather than fall asleep or give way to apathy or despair, we must work to decolonize our bodies, minds and souls. Most in congress and corporate captured agencies, media, big tech, will eventually fall but this may only happen when we are willing to stand up for ourselves and demand accountability.

Be your own person, listen to your gut. There are big choices here to make and they are hard. By choosing oneself and one's sovereignty, one may lose much in terms of friendship, work, financial security and social approval. But are these artificially constructed paradigms worth your inner soul?

This month we will see the fallout of what the covid crisis has wrought and there may be more heavy-handedness, death, loss and struggle.

In addition to the Revolutionary War period, we are also reliving the 1930's. Most of us in liberal America, when we think of fascism, our heads turn toward right wing extremists. Yes, they are the 19th century version of fascism, but we have already experienced a corporate coup d'etat in the 20th century. Fascism is the now ever present reality of corporations ruling the government which has made true democratic law making impossible.

And now, if the powerful have their way, we are headed toward a 21st century technocracy. Do not get caught up in the theatrics and be clear eyed about who the tyrants really are. They are more likely wearing a lab coat or a business casual outfit than some lurid American flag costume.

Will you be on the right side of history? By wrestling with your old demons and dethroning them, you will likewise set yourself free to see the present and future with a clear and uncompromising gaze. Psyche deals with our psychological wounding and in many cases, the damage to our ego development. For those with a weak inner core, the exterior personality must cartoonishly expand. We are reaching a time where the hubris will destroy the organism as not being in alignment with nature is deadly. Yet, we also possess a touch of the divine within our cells and if we can discover and embody that truth, all of the bruises and missteps will be worth it.

Humankind is poised at the edge of evolution or de-evolution. The distorted ego is poisonous to us all as anyone dealing with a narcissist can attest. They snuff out all the air and life in a room and leave everyone else feeling voided and empty.

Psyche in Regulus is also hovering over the degrees of 2 eclipses, one from July of 2017 and Feb of 2018. Yes, Trump was in office at that time and we dealt with not only Russian collusion but also parkland. Seems we are still dealing with these issues - the belief in foreign interference, whether true or not and the problem with gun control. There is also the issue of the self vs. the collective and we seem to have lost our way in this regard (to be ironically interpreted one way or the other depending on what "team" you are on).

I've already ranted about the Pluto in Capricorn station in the opening. The main theme is abuse of power. Who are the abusers in front of or behind the camera?

In the world, we may get a better idea of who is behind the horrors of the pandemic. Who has orchestrated it and to what end? Be certain it is NOT accidental as we are made to believe, but very well coordinated ahead of time.

In our personal lives, we have been dealing with long-standing power struggles in the Capricorn house in our charts. Most likely whomever we are dealing with now is simply a ghost imprint of the earliest abuser - our parent/s. If we have failed to integrate our hurt inner child, he/she is still responding to unfair situations with fear and conversely, with weird "love" for our abuser, the infamous Stockholm Syndrome.

Pluto (and Capricorn) is about repression, oppression, suppression. Who is being allowed to talk and who is being censored? This should tell you that the narrative must not be questioned at any cost. If we look back in history, what can we discern?

We're going to have to decide if we want to be adults operating in this messy melting pot or be regressed into children who hope that big daddy will save us from the bad people.

Much of society has been menticided through propaganda, but many cracks are showing and it is my hope that some of the lunacy can stop. Yet, as Pluto does still deal with abuses of power, there may be one more attempt at crackdowns to cover the blinding lies, inconsistencies and corruption that is poisoning populations literally and figuratively. The bottom line is to remove the yokes of oppression and the best we can do is wake up and inspire the people around us to do the same.

DEVELOPING THE RESILIENCE TO FORGE YOUR OWN PATH

I have been saying for some time that we are in a pivotal moment for this country and for humanity. The IPCC report released last month clarified the omnicidal track we are on. Yet, world leaders are talking about talking about it. Many of the converging events of this era involve recognizing the destruction that the political and financial classes have hoisted onto world populations. And likewise, we are beginning to comprehend that current leaders have no intention of fixing the destruction that they have allowed and/or were responsible for. We must face the fact that leaders in every category have a sociopathic bent and rather than laud them, we should be holding them to account.

But after five years of political and emotional drama with Trump, many feel defeated. Covid, of course, put the nail in the coffin and many have just gone along with what "Good Daddy Biden" is saying perhaps only for the reason that he is not "Bad Daddy Trump". But really, when it comes to oligarchy, corporatism, militarism, financial chicanery (well, Trump's cabinet was pretty filthy), the country is bumping along on the same downward trajectory. And, as covid was exploited for financial and political power, so will the climate change issue be used to divide and conquer even further.

I know several readers have been dismayed that I have not been able to portend "good news". I am only a messenger of the trends - historical, cultural and psychological, that are on the horizon. Does one believe that I am happy to be talking about rampant abuses of power, technological overreach, psychological and biological warfare? Yet, these scenarios are being played out as we speak. The purpose is to awaken us from our stupor and our lazy relinquishment of personal power for safety and "security". There will be no security on a dying planet and without abrupt action, our best days may be behind us - provided we chose to stay stuck in the old paradigm.

As a counterbalance to much of the old world dying, a new world can come into being. But this is likely to demand much of us - emotional, moral, spiritual and mental resilience - and that means detaching from the paradigm that keeps us infantilized and addicted. Most people do not know their real power nor their magnificence as a spiritual being. Religious and political leaders would love to keep us subservient and therefore not likely to support us in personal or societal evolution.

Lack is another issue that shows us divorced from the creative source. Of course, I recognize that we live in the 3 dimensional world and require sustenance, but that is not our full spectrum self. Tapping into the ethereal and energetic realms allows us to grow in strength and brilliance with the ability to solve previously unachievable goals (like ending world hunger, climate change, inequality, etc). We are being poised on the edge of evolution and this is an exciting if terrifying thought.

And as clients, you know that I do not steer clear of the heavy stuff in your personal readings. I trained as a Plutonian astrologer, where it is about going into the darkness, excavating the pain and bringing us back into wholeness. In the same way that I might address abuse and horror stories in relationships, I must likewise be a truthteller when it comes to what is happening on the planet.

So my intention writing these horoscopes is not to comfort you - sorry, there are plenty of columns that will gladly do so - but to alert or challenge you into looking at the consensus reality world differently. Astrology is a tool that can allow one to recognize and cognize intersecting cycles while allowing plasticity in the interpretation. The energy is always happening, but as in our personal lives when things aren't working out, it is because the energy is manifesting in a default or lower vibrational frequency. With more consciousness, we can use the energy differently and develop a story/history for humanity.

Astrology has been bastardized and defanged in recent centuries and science has replaced religion or spiritual practices as our god. But any "ism" that doesn't allow for questions or repositioning, is simply dogma. Nowadays "follow the science" is simply a theocratic statement with nothing to back it up - or corrupted data to support an agenda. And what is that agenda? A transhumanist one of destroying our natural human biological selves in service to an insane power hungry grab at all life.

Of course, as someone who looks into long-term trends and analyzes the psychic temperature, the future does not look bright - if we stay on this dimensional frequency. But more light dispels the darkness and fear and if there is any reason to encourage you to be healthy, it is to let go of fear. Our bodies are miracles of healing and the external inputs that the medical industrial complex wants us to undergo/undertake disrupt the natural process of handling disease.

The scapegoating that is happening on all sides is a divide and conquer strategy. No matter what your take on the covid scenario, I will repeat that NONE of us regular folk know the real truth. We are being lied to in ways large and small and we would do best to unite to point fingers at the real culprit - the medical and surveillance industrial complex who are doing the bidding of the 1%. Our needs and desires are not part of this equation and this is our dire opportunity to destroy the false construct of hierarchy and power over/power under.

And has been said before, we are living not only a repeat of the Revolutionary and Civil War periods in American history, but also the 1930's - this from a global perspective. One doesn't need to look very far to notice a very ugly trend of fascism and scapegoating that has engulfed our nation.

Toward the end of the month, we enter the Pluto station phase along with Mercury retrograde. This timeline of 9/27/ - 10/17/21 will be quite volatile and reveal the true nature of what the covid agenda has been. We will also feel the fallout in the economic, social and healthcare arenas. Understand that this timeline continues the downward descent of patriarchal institutional overreach. Can this new totalitarianism be stopped? Yes, only if we wake up to the true nature of the crisis rather than the created narrative which at this point is the only one we are allowed to hear.

Do individuals have power or has our agency been totally stolen? That is up to us. September is a month to come up against pressure to conform, but concurrently the need to at least express one's real thoughts and promptings. Even if you fail against the establishment narrative, it is important that you try. As we approach the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Jupiter in Aquarius (expansion of universal rights) hits a snag with Pluto in Capricorn (continuing hierarchical domination). Because of the horrendous, suspiciously synchronistic fall in Afghanistan, is it a setup for more conflict, lockdowns and censorship?

As with the pandemic, none of us really know the truth about this war and the motivations of the power structure. Of course, we can gather that the lust for drugs (both illegal and "legal" pharmaceuticals) and rare minerals has some role to play and the window dressing of bringing democracy or helping women is a facade for more profit-driven or craven ambitions.

Yet, people are waking up to the endless wars and questioning the narrative of American hegemony and realizing that we are no longer an ascendant nation but a failing military state.

Hence, even a nudge in the right direction is important as once we move out of Capricorn in 2024, we can actually begin to create the new world that we are visioning right now.

Personally, we're just trying on new ideas that veer from the conventional narrative. This is just a test run and it is unlikely that you will get far, but see how your new notions are different and create discomfort with the old guard.

As a preview to Scorpio season later this fall, we experience the passage of Vesta (our spiritual alignment, our "sisterhood") into Scorpio (the emotional depths). This allows us to locate the subterranean currents that are unconsciously influencing our lives. Scorpio energy gives us the courage to probe the darker side and unflinchingly kill off that which no longer serves us.

While it may be uncomfortable for many of us to delve into our trauma, it would behoove us to do so personally and collectively. And quite frankly, it is the only choice we have it we are going to change the world and move it in a more healthy direction. The poison must be excavated and the wound cauterized. There are many different ways and astrological transits that can accomplish this, but Scorpio is still probably the best as it accompanies the season of nature's death and sleep into the underground (to return in the spring).

In all cases, whatever you discover or acknowledge (and we all have some darkness or mistrust within), is actually "cured" by seeing the light. There IS power in the darkness and the secrets, but it tends to be a power over us. And the suspicions that you hold may be rooted in real past experiences but they do not have to color every encounter in the present tense. Decide where perspicacity is needed and where, otherwise, it is an anchor around your neck and a self-protective mechanism that is actually self-sabotaging. It's all good if we can transform the shit into gold.

And while we are no doubt in chaotic and uncertain times, the balancing energy of Libra can be a welcome balm. Libra is a civilizing energy and focused on developing and maintaining relationships. We have re-discovered how important it is to be able to find like-minded souls as well as those people that we can depend upon in case of an emergency.

But this is not solely about survival. We also desire the solace and balancing effect that a beautiful environment provides. It can help our mental and emotional health to be in surroundings that are pleasing and designed according to our needs. We can always make small attempts in our lives to encourage harmony, equality and acceptance. A bit of civility can go a long way, as long as it is not complicity.

Toward the end of the month, we enter the Pluto station phase along with Mercury retrograde. To repeat, this timeline of 9/27/ - 10/17/21 will be quite volatile and may begin to reveal the true nature the covid crisis. We will also feel the fallout in the economic, social and healthcare arenas.

How badly have we failed to understand the origins of the virus and the intentions of governmental overreach? What will we find out next? How can we improve things going forward?

While Mercury retrograde is a recurring transit, in this instance, the news we hear may be more global, serious or profound. It will give us a greater sense of how we must conduct ourselves to handle the new global terrain. Do not be surprised if the narrative your were told is no longer viable or was ever real to begin with.

Of course, in our personal interactions, Mercury retro brings news, encounters, recollections of previous relationship stories and we may perhaps better understand why a person or situation evolved as it had. This is a time to reconstitute it should we desire, or decide that this situation must remain in the past.

Some issues that could arise have to do the with essential Pluto in Capricorn theme - abuse of power and how we react to it. Most of our concepts about relationships were forged in the crucible of patriarchy and hence some of our personal issues may also be archetypal or collective in nature. This may be the time to make that correlation that the personal is political or has been affected by your lifetime conditioning in a certain type of culture.

Clients come to me to provide a bigger perspective to their lives - to link together seemingly disparate events into a more organizing whole. Astrology is about seeing patterns in behaviors, actions and tendencies and once the individual becomes aware of the subconscious program, they are in greater control and agency in their lives.

In a similar fashion, when writing these monthly horoscopes, I am attempting to bring sometimes differing events into some critical meta-analysis. We can, and I have gone down some detailed rabbit holes, but if I were to sum up the past 12 years, it is about learning to overthrow the abuser in one's life - and this includes the boss, the father, the partner, the government, the church and the overarching "modern" narrative.

We can investigate every single disturbing event in this timeline, if not thousands of years, and find abuse of power and lack of integrity at the top of the heap of misdeeds and horrifying choices. All of imperialism, capitalism, corporatism, military adventurism, "evil" science goes back to individuals or companies who choose to manipulate the people and resources for their own benefit. So whether we are looking at BLM, Me Too, environmental destruction, medical malpractice, opioid addiction, gun violence, domestic violence - it all goes back to a spiritual disabled being/organization pushing their illness onto others.

Colonization has been the name of the game for centuries and now that we have run out of lands and resources to plunder, mad scientists are trying to infiltrate and enslave our minds and bodies through chemicals, gmo's, unwarranted medical interventions, anti-depressants, pharmaceuticals, gaming, porn, vapid entertainment, junk food, sensationalist media - all to take us away from inner lives and install their nefarious or destructive programs and agendas. Religious leaders, the military, law enforcement, influencers, think tanks, media personalities all collude to keep us trapped in a false construct of weakness and despair.

This is a spiritual war we are fighting and if you are still giving your power away (as we all are to some degree) you must work hard to take it back. We must attempt to save the world before there is no world left to save!

HOW ASTROLOGY SUPPORTS THE WORK OF THERAPISTS AND COUNSELORS

A large percentage of astrologer are counselors, whether with actual accreditation or by virtue of their role with clients.  Yet, the number of therapists who integrate astrology into their practice is very small.

This is an unfortunate oversight in that astrology WAS the first psychology, theology, philosophy and medicine in human history.  And the forefather of modern psychology, Carl Jung, derived many of his theories from his observation of astrological symbolism.

Over the course of human history, there has been no greater system for knowing oneself than astrology.  It speaks to all the areas of life--i.e. the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms.  Yet astrology is generally not consulted in therapeutic practice when attempting to untangle a client's biography, motivations and underlying predisposition.

When dealing with the story of a person's life, the birth chart can unveil the who, what, when where, why and how of an individual's soul biography.

What are some of the benefits of using astrology in therapeutic practice?  How can this science help the therapist do his or her job with greater clarity and deeper insight?

1.  timing around client's issues

Based on the client's chart and the transits they are receiving (the current astrological weather), the practitioner can focus on the issues truly being raised at the time (as opposed to the apparent or surface problem).  The chart can indicate the acute situation (with transits) as well as the chronic underlying conditions (the birth chart itself).

The personal cycles of the patient will show the emotional readiness (or not) of the client to make progress on their issues.

Astrology can reveal whether the client is actually ready for a breakthrough or quantum leap or is more interested in recapturing/seeking out missing needs from the past.  For instance, one is more readily able to let go of the past during a Saturn transit, be open to accelerated change during a Uranus transit and deal with long-standing emotional issues (possibly generational) during a Pluto transit.  The latter is the most dynamic time for depth psychology whereas the Uranus transit may breed epiphanies and wakeup calls.

2.  As astrology returns us to the scene of the crime, certain cycles repeat in an individual's life and an astrologer can pinpoint where and when a certain symptom/complex began and discern when a repeating timeline will come up in which the symptoms can be relieved or possibly relived with awareness once and for all.  This will increase the effectiveness of truly healing and transforming the client's life.

3.  Assist in defining the type of therapy that would best maximize results.  The proper therapy can be applied when one is clear on what the seed issue is rather than simply applying a standard method in a period that will not work to best advantage or at all.

4.  Reveal hidden emotional or sexual predilections.  Abuse, trauma, incest, emotional enmeshment, isolation, these can all be seen in the astrological chart of the client.  Sexual identity issues, bi-sexuality, frigidity, impotence can also be indicated along with the original incident (in the case of sexual dysfunction) that set this pattern in motion (and the identity of the perpetrator or abuser).

5.  Mother/father issues, the basis of Freudian analysis can be unearthed by looking at the Sun (father) and the Moon (mother) and their respective connections.  Likewise, underlying sibling dynamics can also be discerned.

6.  The birth chart can indicate possible mental health disorders ranging from bi-polar disorder, depression, narcissism, psychosis, split or multiple personality disorder.  These can corroborate the original diagnosis of the therapist or psychiatrist.

7.  If applicable, the birth chart can reference possible past life traumas affecting current day reality, including insomnia, fear of heights, inexplicable phobias and fetishes.  This is particularly helpful in shamanic work.

8.  The personal horoscope can provide insight into client's communication style, desire nature, hidden compulsions, the nature of their shame, judgement and guilt in order to better assist in excavating and releasing hidden sabotaging behaviors.

9.  Astrology can provide more specific direction into the most beneficial therapy for the moment or overall healing of the individual.  The client's internal archetypal picture is evident in the chart and can articulate the soul needs that the client who is splintered or in denial may not be aware of.

What an astrologer CANNOT  do is the long-term therapeutic behavior modification, support, coaching or health counseling (unless one is the rare medical astrology). Likewise, the prescribing of medication, herbs, supplements is generally not the domain of the astrologer.  We are not there in the trenches for the day-to-day, week to week improvements/setbacks in the patient's journey.  Yet, once again, we can provide a timeline for when the situation might improve and what internal conditions might need to be addressed in the individual.

The beauty of astrology is that the birth chart offers both the disease/diagnosis and the cure.  The manner in which to resolve intransigent issues involves a reworking of the energetic patterns, behavior grooves in the manner in which homeopathy works.  Astrology can offer a more effective blueprint for living one's life using the assets and challenges of the chart.

I think astrology is an amazing tool to be utilized in tandem with classic psychology and other therapeutic methods.  One diagnostic reading can provide invaluable multi-layered information about a client.

I invite those in the healing and mental health professions to consider consulting with an astrologer to access information (with the client's permission, of course) that may be hidden but is available through careful analysis of the birth chart.  In that way, you can help accelerate the growth of the client and potentially alleviate their pain in a more effective and timely manner.
