Releasing the Past and Embracing the Future
We may all be a bit raw from our encounters or revelations during the Venus retrograde in Scorpio. Questions have arisen regarding the importance or value of certain persons, places or ideas. Re-visitations from the past are likely to also have occurred either in real life or through social media. The major point to this is to notice how much you've changed or how what once thrilled or entertained you is no longer viable.
Mercury has also been retrograde in Scorpio as well and here, major or minor secrets have been unearthed. What does this person really think of me or vice-versa? Can financial matters be finalized or at least vetted?
As per usual, the classic advice is to not make any decisions until both Venus and Mercury turn direct this month on Nov 14th and 13th respectively.
Other fireworks will occur days later when Mars conjoins Jupiter in Leo for several days while also touching the South Node in Leo. This is combustible energy that can be highly sexual or inspired or result in a male figure leaving our life in a ball of flames.
The Sun in Scorpio will likewise square this configuration on Nob 18th and 19th and we will figure out the obstacles and cost involved in an alliance with a male figure.
Ceres retrogrades at 23 degrees Cancer on Nov 22nd and while this of itself may not be super significant (except for it's association with food and Thanksgiving), but rather this degree will be active in powerful eclipses in July 2027, Jan 2028 and Jan 2029.
Ceres relates to nurturing and housing and this holiday families may be at odds with one another or craving a nostalgic get-together. In the coming years, our economic situations are likely to decline and considerations of housing and care will be forefront in the public eye. We may look back on these last few years as some of the most abundant in our lives as the economy contracts and we enter a depression in 2028.
Mars moves into Virgo on Nov 26th and due to a long retrograde Jan 0 April 2027, will remain in the sign (as well as retrograde into Leo) for six months. Mars in Virgo asks us to fix things and make them functional and useful and particularly during next year's retrograde, to finetune projects and ideas.
At month's end, on the 29th, Uranus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius and this is a blast off to the future, regardless of if we are ready or not. The jobs of the retrogrades are to clear up lingering ties and misunderstandings so that we can move forward cleanly with a new agenda. Mercury is retrograde at least three or four times a year so we are relatively used to its presence. It is however, a bit more challenging or intense when in the sign of Scorpio, that of transformation and deep intimacy.
People may tell us their deepest thoughts at this time so we do get an insight into their hidden selves. Many times, these musings will go on being locked up after the planet turns direct, but now we know more than we did before.
The courageous person may be able to work and change with the revelations as it hints to our deepest desires and willingness to change. But many people, because of trauma or illness, have a hard time extricating themselves from their patterns.

Ceres, the asteroid now designated as a planet, is connected to the concepts of nurturing, sustenance, home and maternal love. When in retrograde motion, we may find some of these energies denied or in short supply.
On the world axis, this transit can take the form of food and housing shortages, crop failures and a insecurity re: home and family. Certainly on the world stage, we have been non-stop warned of impending supply chain issues as well as the possibility of large scale famine in the most destitute of countries.
Even in what is considered the most wealthy country in the world, many people go hungry, including children, and the access to affordable housing is nil.
With a predicted winter of major storms and high energy costs, many will be feeling the pinch and budgeting their fuel allotments to make it through a harsh season.
Ceres, when it relates to the mother principle, is one of ostensibly unconditional love. Of course, many of us were raised in dysfunctional homes and are experience of nurturing was tarnished or twisted in some way. In these instances, just as with the Cancer archetype in general, we are meant to learn to nurture ourselves as part of our journeys here on earth. Once we grow ourselves up, we may likely have the empathy to
extend love and care to others.
Ceres is also related to fertility and we are noticing abysmal rates of infertility and reduced population growth across the developed world.
While this transit will bring greater awareness to this deficit, it is also a time to determine how we can better take care of others and this will be necessary (mutual aid) in the coming years of economic and global turmoil.
This particular retrograde degree is also significant in that it will be visited by three powerful eclipses in the next three years - July 2027, Jan 2028 and Jan 2029.
We may witness the current issues as becoming more problematic and extensive while concurrently placing more focus on making life and housing more affordable to all. It is likely, as mentioned above, that a declared economic depression will occur in Jan 2028 and all of the media-cized prepping advice may be worth considering in a measured way i.e. to always have a little bit more in your pantry than what you use on a daily or weekly basis. Even if food is likely to still be available here in the U.S,, fuel shortages may create more bottlenecks in distribution networks.
This year, as we approach the holidays, let us consider those less fortunate than ourselves and extend grace and possibly financial aid to those in need. Finding like-minded souls and creating community will be a buffer against the disruptions and shortages ahead.
But as with nature, there is a cycle of death and rebirth and Ceres (and Pluto) are closely aligned to this. We are in a civilizational dying cycle but this will be followed by a new period of growth and abundance provided we align closely with our inner heart and human center.

Because of a long retrograde beginning of next year, Mars will remain in this sign through June 2027. This is a very long period of time to work on a project or build a concept alone or with others.
This is a time of putting one's head down (as opposed to Mars in Leo where everyone sought to be a star) and just doing the work. It is a perfect time to start organizing your life and to see it through the first quarter of 2027.
If interested in contributing to the greater good, it is a time to join forces with others rather than go it alone or take sole credit. Teamwork and equality are part of the equation.

The planets most aligned with generational and historical change are Uranus (innovation, revolution, enlightenment) with Pluto (transformation, deconstruction, rebirth). These two behemoths will be dancing in a trine aspect five times in the next few years, which suggests they can be working in concert with each other.
The first of these trine aspects occurred on July 18th and after this one on November 29th, we will experience three more such connections on June 15, 2027, Jan 13, 2028 and May 9th, 2028. As mentioned above re: Ceres in Cancer, there will also be important "structural" eclipse trailing before or after these dates so our lives will be rapidly changing in the next three years.
The best use of Uranus trine Pluto is to go with the flow and try to embrace or embody the highest forms of these energies. Otherwise, we will all be witness to the destructive tendencies of these planets which include revolutions of all kinds. In many cases, the actual revolution is horrid but the aftermath brings progress to humankind.
It is harder to feel that the technological revolution whereby we destroy biological life will be as positive an outcome but we will have to navigate through this period regardless.
