Facilitating New Connections and Communications
While this month's transits are not as profound as February’s Saturn/Neptune conjunction or Pluto retrograde in May, June still offers up some fairly influential astrology.
On June 12th, Uranus, newly ensconced in Gemini will square the Nodes in Virgo/Pisces providing a bit of wild card energy. Uranus is always surprises and epiphanies and, in this instance, we are attempting to integrate creative ideas into form in a unique way.
Venus in Leo opposes Pluto on June 18th and while not as powerful as a direct hit of Pluto to a personal planet, will still fire up some dramatic or triangulating circumstances. We may also receive some praise or money, but it may have strings attached. Leo is about being special while Pluto in Aquarius erases our individuality so we may feel neglected or disregarded by those we place in empowered positions.
June 19th brings the first entrance of Chiron into Taurus which will focus healing in a new direction, that of the body and worldly possessions. The core wound with Taurus would be security and self esteem and we may find ourselves worried about money whether we have it or not. Of course, the current economic situation is rapidly deteriorating and Chiron in Taurus transits presage more serious economic downturns. The officially declared DEPRESSION may occur in January of 2028 when Saturn in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius square each other. We may then fully realize the empty promise of AI technology and data centers to grow our GDP and instead deal with a collapsing economy.
In the meantime, we can begin changing how we get our needs and pleasures met with more humble and natural activities - a day in the park, a hike in the woods, a walk in a flower garden.
The Mercury retrograde at the end of the month, in Cancer, offers opportunities to finalize real estate or family decisions, courtesy of Jupiter in Cancer.
Next month, Jupiter will move into Leo and our luck will transfer from home and sentimentality towards actions that grow our visibility and uniqueness.
Ceres in Gemini conjunct Uranus in Gemini June 3rd

Ceres is how we nurture/feed another and in Gemini, information is our main source of sustenance. Building community, peer -based relationships and writing all fall under the domain of Gemini. Gemini is also early education and when Uranus in Gemini, the disruptor arrives, education must undergo a renovation or renewal.
In our bid for equality, education has brought long sought opportunities to women and girls. But education has also taken on a decidedly feminine perspective of cooperation, team-building, emotional expression and conflict resolution. All great objectives but ones that leave out the needs of boys and men, who require competition, goal-setting, individuation and more activity. Boys are falling behind in all areas so we may want to rebuild the education system to accommodate both girls and boys and their individual gender-based developmental requirements.
In other areas, Uranus may bring forth some unusual epiphanies and opportunities around communication - or disruption thereof. There are some viral videos going around re: commencement speeches where the AI topic was widely booed by graduates realizing that their education is worthless due to AI displacing most white collar college degreed jobs.
Who are these AI data centers benefitting? Largely no one except for the investor class.
How can we build community and learning on a new scale? In our personal lives, what new ideas can we cultivate around nurturing our community and communication styles? (Hint, writing in cursive would be a start where the mind body connection is neurologically supported).
This transit, while small, may highlight what needs repair or displacement:

Uranus in Gemini squares Nodes June 12th at 2 degrees

Similar to the energy of Ceres/Uranus above, Uranus in Gemini will be squaring the last leg of the Virgo/Pisces nodal axis. The Nodes focus our energy toward development on the North Node side (Pisces) and release on the South Node side (Virgo).

Venus into Leo June 14th opposing Pluto June 18th

Venus moving into Leo on June 14th brings out the drama king/queen in everyone. (This is a prelude to when Jupiter moves into Leo July 1st for a year).
However, when Venus is opposed by Pluto, one's specialness seems to be extinguished or denied by impersonal forces. Venus/Pluto aspects also involve triangulation (nowadays this could be with a AI chatbot) or power struggles regarding money.
In some instances, one actually acquires a significant amount of money or property.
There's nothing wrong with feeling like a prince or princess, and we are allowed to treat ourselves to things or experiences that make us feel pampered (within budgetary reason). But we cannot necessarily expect anyone else to see or treat us that way and this is the rub when Pluto opposes Venus because the "powers that be" are not interested in or impressed with our being.
Of course, we can expect drama or narcissistic outbursts in the world around us as well as on the world stage. The best use of Leo energy is to understand that one is gifted, but as a conduit to source and that we are special because we are connected to the true essence. We are connected to God but we are NOT god, which is the misconception of the Leo narcissist.

Chiron in Taurus June 19th

Chiron, the wounded healer will move temporarily into Taurus on June 19th through Sept 16th, 2026 and then permanently next spring.
As Taurus is connected to the material plane, the issues we may be grappling with will include economic inequality, body image, self esteem and the environment.
Chiron in Taurus periods have coincided with economic downturns and depressions but these happen in conjunction with Saturn/Pluto aspects, the next of which will occur in 2028. So yes, the economic forecast is not a positive one but a necessary realignment of interests and objectives. Even is one is financially secure, one may experience fear and poverty mentality that will be rampant during the early years of this transit.
With the ubiquity of social media and visual overloads, we can feel shame or disappointment over not being perfect. Chiron in Taurus will ask us to accept ourselves with all of our imperfections. We may return to a more normal standard of beauty once this transit is over in 2033.
In previous Chiron in Taurus transits, environmental disasters occurred from famines and crop failures in China in to the 1930's dustbowl in the US. In the 1970's, cities and countries required bailouts to avert financial ruin.
This may all sound dire but there is a silver lining in the form of greater appreciation for what one has, a return to a more simple, natural way of living which can be exemplified in "back to the land" movements and the average person being more aware of the necessity of healthy foods.
We may find ourselves stronger and less acquisitive if we ground ourselves in the practices and activities that provide joy and connection. (These will also be an antidote to the transhumanist push of Pluto in Aquarius).

Now the phrase, in the wound is the gift, is apt in regards to Chiron in Taurus. Initially, we may notice the density of the pain connected to feeling unworthy, but as time and the transit moves on, we can integrate and process this pain into something worthwhile and helpful to others. And ironically, in the areas that we feel most damaged is the key to healing others.
The financial landscape as well as environmental factors will be the likely outer playing field of discontent and shame but they mirror the inner picture that many of us are carrying. (And this does not dismiss or condone the corruption and misalignment of the systems we are living under). But one can be a billionaire and still feel poor because in this case, it is an inner state.
In the outer world, there will be a rising up of the underclass and hopefully the uniting toward a single cause of dismantling the current financial system that does not serve the many. It has been done before and Chiron in Taurus will be a minor player in what will be a grand reimaging of life on planet earth.
Mercury retrograde in Cancer June 29th at 26 degrees
nostalgia for better times
As Jupiter moves into Leo next month, leaving Cancer, the last remaining vestige of Cancerian energy is a Mercury retrograde from June 29th through July 23rd. This retrograde may review the longings of the past year, particularly in regard to home/residence and family. Cancer is seeking the ideal family situation and usually does not experience it. Hence, Cancer must learn to nurture oneself and house oneself in a way that suits them without expectation of "parental" approval or support.
The past year of Jupiter in Cancer bode well for real estate (location specific, of course) and so even though Jupiter will move into Leo July 1st, this mercury retrograde will extend the time period of positive real estate development by another month.
If you have been debating about a residential move or buying or selling real estate, this is a good period to reconsider your choices once again.
In more meta terms, Mercury retrograde in Cancer has us recoup or rediscover ways to take care of ourselves and accept ourselves unconditionally. The warm weather in most parts of the world can also allow us more time in mother nature where we can ground ourselves in her lushness and fructuousness.

The Mercury retrograde at months' end wraps up the Jupiter in Cancer cycle of the last twelve months. How do we feel nurtured, how can we care for ourselves and others? Cancer is more traditional and sentimental and this may be the last period of any type of nostalgia or patriotism as will be evidenced (or lacking) in the nation's 250th anniversary.
Our focus moving forward, enhanced by Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, which will aspect each other next month, is to create new communities, learn new skills and discover ways to "outsmart the beast", which may only happen with great luck and cunning.
Regardless, we on new terrain that is more mental and abstract and technological rather than emotional or tangible or human-centered. The ideas and connections that can come to us now will do us in good stead and allow us to move from one old paradigm to a still newly forming reality that we still have some ability to influence before the transhumanist agenda attempts to locks us into a digital nightmare.
